Wow what a beautiful traditional Spanish Hotel. Host spoke very good English and was very helpful. Rooms very comfortable and lovely ensuite facilities. Parking on site. Bar two minutes around the corner which we visited for a drink. Very quiet Spanish village. Great stopover just off the main road.

No downside for us as it was perfect for a stopover. Heads up with regards to local restaurants there is only a small local bar. We took a picnic as there are gardens and seating areas around the hotel.

Really unusual place. Fabulously gothic inside. Obviously been a very high end place in its day, but its day was a while ago. You really need to phone to get in. The owners are really lovely. Room comfortable with a large bathroom and heating. Great outside space for dogs. Not far from the motorway. Fantastic value for money, and if you're just looking for a stopover with a dog, this is ideal.

Very dark - the corridor to my room was literally pitch dark. The automatic light came on for a second, but went out before I got to my door, and mine was the first room. Ended up using the torch on my phone. No shops, bars or restaurants in the village, and no refreshments in hotel. No kettle in room. Breakfast was free and ok. They try really hard to make you welcome, but some of the basics are just not there. This could be an amazing hotel if there were food and drinks available and they made the best of what is there. That said, I would definitely stay again.

We booked this stay at the last moment and it proved to be a very fortuitous find. The host was the apitomomy of hospitality and good manners. He was extremely welcoming and helpful. Because of our very recent booking, literally 30 minutes before we arrived, we had some hiccups finding the hotel, but when we called the host, he cheerfully guided us to the front door. When we arrived , he stood waiting for us with a huge beaming smile that said welcome. The hotel is the host ancestral home. The building and many of its furnishing were 18th century. As my wife said"no plastic." As we were the only guests, we were given a deluxe room, with four posterbed and views over the beautiful courtyard. We truly felt like guest.

Hotel entrench is a little hard to find, but stick with itits worth it. When you reach the crossroads in the centre of the village, turn right, just before the end of the buildings, on your left, there is a gateway with the hotel's sign. Turn into this and drive up the drive directly in front of you. Park in the area at the top of the drive and go to the door on your left. We found it better to ring the host at this point.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The building is steeped with history going back as far as the 18th century with all the original ancient old oak doors and roof beams. We travelled with our Irish Red Setter, and this was no problem for the hotel.

Unfortunately, there was no evening meal service and so we were relying on the only local tavern in the village for food. On the day we arrived they were not serving food; however, they kindly did make us a sandwich. Be prepared to bring something of your own for the evening in case you encounter the same issue we had.

Beautiful old world hotel. Good size bedroom and bathroom. Beautiful classic decor. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful little village and excellent tapas bar across the road for food and drinks. Great value for money. Breakfast was very good with a good variety of bread and pastries etc. Very accommodating of our pet. The outside seating area is really lovely too.

That our Spanish was non existent to converse with staff. Also that we only stayed one night to break up a long distance drive. We would love to stay again.

The premises are located in a historic house in a small village easily reached by the A23. We only stayed overnight as a journey break but would like to return for a longer stay as it's not often you can stay in a place like this, full of character and family run.

No problems. You need to phone on your arrival as, being a large house, there isn't a reception desk as such and the door (the one on the left in the courtyard) might be locked.

Excellent hotel to stay on our way home from Spain. The owner was very welcoming on our arrival and spoke fluent English. The hotel lies approximately five minutes off the A23 road in the quaint village of Navarrete and provided bed and breakfast. There is also a bar within two minutes walk of the hotel where you were made welcome.

Quaint village friendly greeting

Hard to rate as severe thunderstorm as we arrived which flooded parts of village and kept us in. Secondly we wanted to cancel breakfast as we no longer needed it and could find no one to talk to in the evening. In the end we left a note hoping that would suffice

I love this hotel. Very quirky. Not far off the main road for a stopover.

No tea/coffee facilities in room and nowhere close to buy food and drink. I've stayed a few times and now just pick up some juice and a couple of sandwiches at a petrol station before I get there.

Rincon de Navarette is a beautiful old Spanish building both inside and outside. The host was very welcoming and other staff excellent. This is our second time staying here and won't be out last.

We arrived on a Sunday so had to travel 4km for a bite to eat.
