Located close to shops, bars and restaurants hotel is a super old building with inner courtyard and rooms arranged round it, decorated with some lovely old furnitures had a very nice ambience. Our room was adequate with en-suite bathroom. The resurgent has a bar and a restaurant. We had drinks at the bar and a very good dinner in the restaurant.

Could hear the people next door talking on the mobile phones

Meson de la Dolores is in a very old, historic building, perhaps the oldest in Calatayud (15th century). So it has a lot of atmosphere. Breakfast is OK and the staff is friendly. As the hotel is situated in the middle of the old city of Calatayud, next to the tourist office, the location is perfect. Also the room was very quiet; I didn't hear the noise in the restaurant.

My room was somewhat dark because of the small (historic) window and the view from that window was a wall close by and part of a roof (room 206). The hotel staff warned me beforehand of the bad view; nevertheless I could only read with the lights on. Some facilities like a fridge and tea things were not available.

Good location, amazing historic building, quiet, comfortable beds, good air con, friendly and helpful staff. Safe bicycle storage.

The shower gel and shampoo were placed in the cups in the bathroom which was a strange place to put them so we didn’t see them till after our showers. The restaurant which the hotel advertised was closed which was an unexpected surprise for us.

Very pretty and a good location. My 3rd visit

The way the breakfast was served. I go to about 25/30 hotels a year and I have never seen breakfast served like here. It is slow, didn’t allow for choice and bizarre. It is better to lay out the food so we can go and choose what we want without queuing and feeling guilty if we want more eg another coffee

This hotel has the charm and character of a parador but without the pricey refinements and updates. The restaurant, also like a parador, serves outstanding food.

Even with at least five different routers, the Wifi service is absolutely terrible. There are frequent periods when it is simply not usable at all.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, including the room and the location. It really was a pleasure to stay for two nights, as well as being clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful with regard to special requests.

Rooms can be a bit noisy sometimes, both from other rooms in the hotel and from the street outside. Something to consider if silence and quiet is a must.

Really friendly staff. Lovely old-fashioned hotel. Good location virtually on the main square. Large supermarket nearby. Large room with easy chair and two backless seats making it easier to put on/take off your shoes after a long hike.

Water pressure is a bit weak - but that's a good thing. We should think about the water we use and, sometimes, waste.

Breakfast was a little confusing with where to eat with two areas. The server informed us to go through to the restaurant side but reception told us to dine in the foyer cafe area. Breakfast was two items from the display, rather limited.

Breakfast could have fared better with more choices available.

A superb location in the middle of the town. A good unusual breakfast with homemade tapas and cakes. Really enjoyed our balcony table for dinner in an authentic, quirky building. The museum held within the hotel was amazing and opened especially for us. We learned about Bretons opera Dolores and how it’s story was based in Calatayud!

We were n a basic room which we be paid for. It had no real view but v spacious. Other more expensive rooms enjoyed balconies and views.
