Lovely quaint clean hotel in nice beachside town of Castelldefels. Beautiful beach and hotel provides vouchers for use of beach-chairs. Distance to Barcelona is slightly farther than we were expecting, but was bus right in front of the property and takes you to Barcelona or train station. Had a good continental breakfast. Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast could be better, especially the eggs which were likely from powder. The patio doors overlooking the beach were not sound proof. Was a problem for us as we were there during a beginning of summer celebration with fireworks on the beach until 5:00am. May not be an issue otherwise.

Great Beachside location with 180 degree open view if chosen. Pleasant enough area. Small supermarket nearby on the road. Some eateries near but used area near the main inland Town station.

For access to Barcelona City it’s a decent walk to either train station so we used taxi to & from mainly. Found the €20 breakfast mediocre, the beach bar was much better value & quality. There is some regular Airport noise overhead. The 5pm + rooftop bar was noisy (dj) & pretty chaotic and is open to others. Not affected our room with noiss.

The place is beautiful, the room was superb, clean and super comfortable with an extra large double bed and lovely people to welcome you 🥰 the restaurant on the ground floor is also great with a beautiful view on the dunes, the beach and the sea and excellent food and service 🥰

It did not bother me, but one has to know it’s on the way to the airport and therefore sometimes we hear airplanes that are descending over the hotel. Also, room service starts only at 20.00 as often in Spain which can be inconvenient to some early birds 🙃

Very nice hotel right at the beach and in the city center of Castelldefels, next to some very nice restaurants. Good breakfast. Small private pool area. Friendly staff.

While the entire hotel is up to a very high standard incl the room control touch panel for aircon, lights etc, the breakfast area would definitely benefit from 2 new coffee machines with quicker dispensing hot beverages. For tea drinkers there should be a water kettle in the breakfast area. Castelldefels beach is directly in the landing zone of Barcelona El Prat airport, so expect ongoing air traffic noise.

Bel Air is a nice, small art-deco styled boutique hotel on the beach of Castelldefels. The location of the hotel is great - easy access from the airport, right on the beach, near to restaurants, the bus stop is right next to the hotel as well. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. We stayed here 3 times during our layovers in Barcelona and tried several different rooms and were clean and nicely designed. The beds were very comfortable. We liked the pool area, it is well located on the street side thus for most of the time in shade so we could take a rest from the afternoon heat.

Only thing I have to complain about is that there is no hair conditioner in the bathroom.

Location is fantastic! Sea facing room great. Staff responsive with direct conversation.

Had hot water issues in our room - all cold taps were blazing hot in the morning for about 3 minutes. Toilet included. Reported to front desk. Don’t know if they fixed. Bed looked and felt cheap - like a mattress pad without a mattress but slept ok. Restaurant looked elegant, like most of the facility, but we did not use it.

The location of this hotel is excellent with easy access to lots of bars/restaurants just a short walk away. The walk along the promenade area & beach front was fantastic. We stayed in the suite with the hot tub on the balcony/terrace. This room was amazing and absolutely worth spending the extra if you want complete luxury & lots of outdoor private space with a wrap around balcony to the front, side & back of the suite. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

The location of the pool is backing onto the road with no bar.

The view from a sea view room is phenomenal. Waking up to the views every morning was a dream. It was so calming and relaxing. GET A SEA VIEW ROOM! The restaurant for dinner was unmatched(I tried other places) the quality of the food was exceptional. Cocktails were made very well too. The restaurant was full every night! The hotel rooftop bar is another star of the show! A must try when you stay here.

Getting a taxi. It was difficult to use Uber, but I saw locals using bolt. The hotel staff recommended a company and called them for me. But in my way back I called them myself and they could not understand me so I had to call multiple times, so just be aware of that.

We had a wonderful stay, room 205 beach front. The property has a perfect location, nothing more nice than hearing the sea, very clean with white and puffy towels, Rituals cosmetics. Additional towels for pool provided, the staff at reception and restaurant was great. Pool is small but nice to lounge late afternoon under the palm and parking is handy. We would definitely be Back

The hotel was lovely. The staff were very welcoming, efficient and helpful. The hotel was clean, the rooms a good size and the bed very comfortable. The facilities the hotel offered such as the pool were also good. The breakfast buffet had a wide offering of various foods and was very nice.

The only problem we had with the property was the location. It is on a promenade along the very long beach but there isn’t much around, just a few restaurants. If you only want to sit by the pool or swim at the beach, then this hotel is highly recommended.
