The beds in this hotel are superb. Like the staff it's a thank you from me. As a pilgrim I've stayed here a few times. Sometimes one night sometimes 2 nights and this time 4 nights. I was showing a pal the Camino Frances after a week on the Camino Norte. We stayed in Vitoria gasteiz then carried on to Estrella. On the morning we bussed back to puente la Reina, well I'll be honest l, we bussed back to Maneru. We didn't have enough time to walk up the hill from puente or the lungs. Maneru to ciraqui is one of the great one hour walks of the Camino. Like many other stages I could describe it's just fantastic, as ciraqui drags you in. We walked on to Estella and it was great. Our packs were carrying nothing and our room had been checked into and so it was a perfect Camino break. Next day we walked to Los Arcos and got the bus back after lunch at pension Mavi. Anyone doing the same should know the bus stops outside pension Mavi around 17:00. So check the time, go in and have a great lunch then bus back for 3€. Next up we got the bus to Los Arcos walked to Logrono and got the fast bus back. I think it was headed for San Sebastian and was 6€ but worth every penny. Again I love Estella as it has loads of places and when you're a pilgrim you walk in and put of people's life's. I usually have 3 days in Leon too and train back to Sahagun. The staff here as I said earlier were brilliant Thank you and see you aoon

Great location near a couple of very nice restaurants.

Walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbors but that was the case in almost every place I stayed along the Camino de Santiago.

Great location and modern amenities. Great communal areas, well-equipped and spacious eating area. The lockers in the room were not working but are a great facility to have, very comfortable bed and they are solid and do not squeak every time you move. Multilingual reception staff, clean rooms, and common areas. 12:00 Check-out was very, very welcome, great to have a lie-in after several days of having to check out at 08:00-09:00 along 'el Camino'

Only two shared shower cubicles in a small space and it flooded easily, but besides that all the facilities were great. More can be done for bunk privacy but it was adequate to what I expected for a hostel targeted at peregrinos.

Spacious dormitory with comfortable beds and lockers for security. Reasonably well equipped kitchen for cooking with large dining area to relax in. Bathroom was small for the number of people staying but showers were hot and efficient. The hostel is centrally located near the shopping area where there are lots of eating and drinking establishments

Only 4 showers and 4 toilets for around 40 peoply (separate male and female bathrooms, 2 showers/toilets in each). Only a minor gripe, though.

Spotlessly clean. Large spacious kitchen area which was well equipped. It was nice having a communal space to eat, relax and talk with people without disturbing others. The location of the hostel was great.

The showers were very small with not much space to put your things. The small space made it difficult to get dressed and undressed There were no cups or glasses in the kitchen to use. They were all in an area reserved for the breakfast so were not to be touched.

The access to a Laundry machine and a dryer with a detergent is convenient, all. On 1st floor, with the kitchen and sitting access on the same level, looking out to the square. Dia supermarket is not too far from the hostal. basic but efficient.

The cleaning ladies almost enforces to kick people out with loud noises at 8am. Kitchen counter, tables and laundry machine dispener need a serious deep cleaning.
