This hotel is converted from the 500-year-old home of a nobleman, a beautiful and very well-maintained property. It has the historic feel with beams on the ceiling, furniture from a previous era - but is very well maintained and comfortable too with good plumbing and other modern facilities. It was a real treat to stay here, it's well decorated too with a lovely courtyard and parking in a closed yard. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bar and kitchen were pretty ok too! I can't comment on the breakfast as we are vegetarian so usually don't select the hotel breakfast and look for other options, easy enough in Spain because the best fruit is available, some of which you don't get in India.

No kettle in the room. They very sweetly made us coffee at 7am - but charged us for it, it wasn't a big deal but surely chai-coffee in the morning should be a given?

Lovely 500 Yr old hotel full of rustic charm. Set in well cared for gardens easy walk to local bars etc

It's really not a question of what we didn't like. Quoted with amenities is a restaurant, and yes, there is. However, it's used for business/weddings !! Not for hotel guests, which is misleading. Bfast is in the quaint old bar. €6 for tea/coffee a choice of toast or various pastries.

Very rarely do you find such a gem as this Hotel, initially as we pulled up to the area & saw this rather dated hotel sign, our hearts sank & we thought uh oh…thankfully though, what lay behind the wooden entrance gate was simply “breathtaking” a really old Hotel at 500+yrs, beautifully restored, keeping all of its original charm & character, friendly helpful staff, we were stopping the 1 night as we were heading on for Chiclana but wished we had longer,

Nothing, 100% perfection

A very nice hotel with unique architecture and layout. Secure off road parking and a comfortable bed. A short walk from the hotel took us to a large park which was a nice way to spend an hour or so walking. It was late in the season so the restaurant wasn’t fully functioning but a simple and very pleasant meal was prepared for us in the bar. Good chilled draught beer was on tap. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet and more than adequate. It was a stop off point from travelling between the UK channel ports and southern Spain and was a great spot for our 2nd night

Very well preserved historical venue in the outskirt of Vitoria; hotel is connected to the center by bus, in a walking distance; unexpected comfort inside room, despite being styled as originally was; large free parking available on site; delicious food at its restaurant at interesting price; helpfull staff.

I usually expect a mild or cool room when lodging at an old palace, in wintertime; on the other hand, excluding the color of the old quilt, I actually felt warm for my entire staying

Beautiful old building full of character, my room was in the old stables I guess. All mod cons, comfy bed, aircon, powershower. Spotlessly clean, very secure parking. Helpful staff as my check in was late at night. 1 thing I would add Do Not Use the Booking. Com app for navigation it sends you to the wrong location. Use Google Maps.

Lovely, medieval hotel on the edge of Vitoria. It was perfect for a one night stay, and the secure car park was real peace of mind as we had our camper van. Quite a walk into the city- but it was worth it. Wonderful bars, pintxos and rioja!

Nothing much really. Breakfast was adequate and nicely presented ( I think its still low season so not many guests).

the hotel is beautiful old and charming, our room was spacious, the bathroom was a good size. parking was on site and secure. it’s really an event hotel where you have a wedding or something and you stay over so eating around here was challenging, the restaurant across the road was closed. But we found something after a short walk.

Historic building with special atmosphere at the edge of Vitoria, close to highway. Big room with big bathroom in an old building with very thick stone walls. Restaurant on site. Comfortable bed. Safe parking on site.
