It was clean and in a quiet area. Receptionists were mostly nice and helpful. Loved the drink and snack bar and free coffee in the morning.
It was really cold in thr hotel room on arrival (17 degrees). We turned on the heating but it didn't work. Called reception and they told us the heating is only turned on between 8 p.m. and 10 a.m.. No-go! I am paying for the room for 24 hours and don't want to freeze during the day. Most people don't need the heating at night, anyway. Never experienced this before. They didn't turn the heating on even after we said we're really cold. Won't be staying again because of this.

The hotel is relatively good looking, clean and breakfast is diverse. The room had an acceptable size and the beds were good. The management supports sustainability and green initiatives and the fact that they provide some complimentary food and drinks near to the reception area was an added plus.
Parking is sort of tight though for Spain is on the large size. The hotel is sort of remote from the central area that, however, can be reached by bus or subway (Madrid has many central areas closed to cars with internal combustion engines but open to green vehicles). What bothered us the most was the scent used in the main lobby = strong and cheap odor. We understand that this is a subjective opinion, but for the sake of staying neutral maybe it is better to eliminate it altogether since some guests might have an increased sensitivity to strong scents. The nearby construction did wake us up at 7 am but that was also because our windows were open. The view (front) is not great (= high rise residential buildings) but after all, the hotel is placed in a regular residential neighborhood.

We liked everything and we very much enjoyed our stay at ARTIEM. Super clean room, lovely smiling staff, 24/7 snacks & drinks area...everything was marvellous. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The location is a bit far from the centre but the neighbourhood is nice and safe, and there's a bus stop just outside the hotel. The bus will take you for example to the El Retiro park. Metro is also relatively close (about 8 mins walk to line 7 and a bit more to line 5 but still manageable). I appreciate the possibility to open windows and get fresh air because in some hotels you can't.

Staying at ARTIEM Madrid was nothing short of fantastic. Nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood, the hotel's location offers easy access to public transport and is conveniently close to the airport. The staff here truly shines—always greeting you with a warm smile, a dash of humor, and plenty of charisma. I was impressed by the spaciousness of both the room and the bathroom, and everything was impeccably clean. A huge plus for us was that the hotel didn't have that typical "chemical hotel smell." The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the thoughtful touch of free water, provided in a reusable bottle that you can refill anytime downstairs in the lovely green area. This is how every hotel should operate! I later discovered that they offer a variety of pillow options—if I’d known sooner, I would have definitely taken advantage since I'm not the biggest fan of the long, narrow Spanish pillows. But we made it work! The only other small wish would have been for a more isolating bathroom door for added privacy, but again, we managed just fine. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of thoughtful touches like multiple milk options, freshly made eggs, omelets, pancakes, and a wide array of healthy choices. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to include more vegetables. The green area, where guests can enjoy complimentary food and drinks, is an absolute gem—thank you for that! The price-quality ratio is excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ARTIEM Madrid to anyone. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Madrid. I could go on about how wonderful our stay was, but I think you get the picture!
Nothing.

Located in a quiet neighborhood with a bus right in front to connect to the rest of Madrid. Hotel is very lean, has a lot of space and light for work or just hang out. The grab & go food area has soup, yogurt, dessert, little sandwiches, good coffee and various types of beverages for in-between meal pick-me-up. Bed is super comfortable, and the shower has excellent water pressure. Staff is very professional, friendly and personal.
No AC in the room in winter. For folks who run very hot, it isn’t easy to be in a warm room. It took an hour to cool down the room after heat was shut off and with both the window and the door open. This probably isn’t an issue for most people.

This hotel differs from others in that the owners (managers) are realizing the concept of providing hotel services of new-generation. In order to understand and feel what this new approach really means, you need to live here at least once. And the next time when you will be in Madrid, you will definitely return to this hotel! I would like to say a special additional thank to girl at the reception, whose name is Ana, for her help and professionalism in solving the technical problem related to my flight ticket.
I liked everything. But there is only one dream - for this hotel to have a small heated swimming pool in the future.

By far, the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Spain. It's beautiful and clean, everyone in the staff is SUPER friendly, the rooms are comfortable, with great beds and they even have a pillow menu if you need a specific one. Breakfast is SUPERB, lots of options and everything is very tasty (the passion fruit and melocoton yogurt was *chefs kiss*). Plus they have beverages and snacks available all day, no extra charge. 10/10, will definitely be staying again on my next trip.
I think the only downside (that wouldn't make me lower the score at all), is that it's a bit far from the city center, and the closest subway station is a 10 min walk. Apart from that, everything else is perfect.

Everything are good. Special bed and shower. We did not take the breakfast option. It is not downtown location but we got better price vs hotel at downtown. You can easier goto downtown by bus 21 anf Metro 7 (orange colour) Our flight schedule to arrive Madrid is 9:25 am. Two day before we did request early check-in thought massage. ARTIEM Madrid reply us they will try their best. The day check in we arrive hotel at 10:30 am , We did got our room right way. Thank you ARTIEM Madrid. We are real appciate it.
The hotel offer free drink and snack to hotel customer. We did not aware this until last day of our stay. We are buying water every day. Until we leave we did not know what rights do we have. No one tell us. We did had a cup of coffee and tea at last day of our stay.

There were so many great touches to the hotel that I thought made the stay fantastic. They have a 24 hour gym with circuit training routines available for you to make your own workout. There was also a ‘gym in a bag’ option where you could do your own workout in your room! The breakfast was great, really fresh and lots of variety! All of the hot food was made to order so really fresh and tasty. The rooms were clean and comfortable with little touches such as the pillow menu, box of sweets and a glass water bottle where you could refill for free downstairs. I loved the sustainability push at the hotel with a focus on reusing and not wasting water! There was a great free snack area with refrigerated drinks and food, as well as a free coffee machine and water dispenser. This will be my new go to in Madrid!
Parking was tight! But the staff warned extensively about this and there are signs everywhere, they also offer alternative suggestions for parking if your car won’t fit!

Can a hotel have it all? This place comes place: super-friendly staff, top class breakfast, a large and really well-thought out room, excellent bathroom and nice design throughout. The touches that made it over and above: a comfortable seat in the room! In some hotel rooms, you can either sit on the bed or on a chair. Here, you have a much better option. 24-hour free snacks. And they weren’t even an afterthought, but really tasty. Well done! Truly impressive.
Tue only thing is that the environment itself is rather residential, but perfectly fine.
