The hotel is relatively good looking, clean and breakfast is diverse. The room had an acceptable size and the beds were good. The management supports sustainability and green initiatives and the fact that they provide some complimentary food and drinks near to the reception area was an added plus.
Parking is sort of tight though for Spain is on the large size. The hotel is sort of remote from the central area that, however, can be reached by bus or subway (Madrid has many central areas closed to cars with internal combustion engines but open to green vehicles). What bothered us the most was the scent used in the main lobby = strong and cheap odor. We understand that this is a subjective opinion, but for the sake of staying neutral maybe it is better to eliminate it altogether since some guests might have an increased sensitivity to strong scents. The nearby construction did wake us up at 7 am but that was also because our windows were open. The view (front) is not great (= high rise residential buildings) but after all, the hotel is placed in a regular residential neighborhood.

Staying at ARTIEM Madrid was nothing short of fantastic. Nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood, the hotel's location offers easy access to public transport and is conveniently close to the airport. The staff here truly shines—always greeting you with a warm smile, a dash of humor, and plenty of charisma. I was impressed by the spaciousness of both the room and the bathroom, and everything was impeccably clean. A huge plus for us was that the hotel didn't have that typical "chemical hotel smell." The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the thoughtful touch of free water, provided in a reusable bottle that you can refill anytime downstairs in the lovely green area. This is how every hotel should operate! I later discovered that they offer a variety of pillow options—if I’d known sooner, I would have definitely taken advantage since I'm not the biggest fan of the long, narrow Spanish pillows. But we made it work! The only other small wish would have been for a more isolating bathroom door for added privacy, but again, we managed just fine. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of thoughtful touches like multiple milk options, freshly made eggs, omelets, pancakes, and a wide array of healthy choices. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to include more vegetables. The green area, where guests can enjoy complimentary food and drinks, is an absolute gem—thank you for that! The price-quality ratio is excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ARTIEM Madrid to anyone. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Madrid. I could go on about how wonderful our stay was, but I think you get the picture!
Nothing.

Everything are good. Special bed and shower. We did not take the breakfast option. It is not downtown location but we got better price vs hotel at downtown. You can easier goto downtown by bus 21 anf Metro 7 (orange colour) Our flight schedule to arrive Madrid is 9:25 am. Two day before we did request early check-in thought massage. ARTIEM Madrid reply us they will try their best. The day check in we arrive hotel at 10:30 am , We did got our room right way. Thank you ARTIEM Madrid. We are real appciate it.
The hotel offer free drink and snack to hotel customer. We did not aware this until last day of our stay. We are buying water every day. Until we leave we did not know what rights do we have. No one tell us. We did had a cup of coffee and tea at last day of our stay.

There were so many great touches to the hotel that I thought made the stay fantastic. They have a 24 hour gym with circuit training routines available for you to make your own workout. There was also a ‘gym in a bag’ option where you could do your own workout in your room! The breakfast was great, really fresh and lots of variety! All of the hot food was made to order so really fresh and tasty. The rooms were clean and comfortable with little touches such as the pillow menu, box of sweets and a glass water bottle where you could refill for free downstairs. I loved the sustainability push at the hotel with a focus on reusing and not wasting water! There was a great free snack area with refrigerated drinks and food, as well as a free coffee machine and water dispenser. This will be my new go to in Madrid!
Parking was tight! But the staff warned extensively about this and there are signs everywhere, they also offer alternative suggestions for parking if your car won’t fit!

Comfortable and large room, with good air conditioning. Beyond any expectation, next to the reception, there was a free self-service bar area, where each guest could have unlimited snacks and drinks. The hotel is easy to access by car, close to a M-30 exit.
The closest metro station was 15 minutes away (on foot). The underground hotel parking (14€/day) is really narrow, with many columns which reduce a lot the space to maneuver. Considering the limitations, the price could also be cheaper. The lack of maneuvering space is very well marked at the entrance of the parking, but it should also be mentioned in the hotel description, so that a guest could understand that well in advance, before the arrival.

A lot of thought and consideration goes into making guests feel welcome at this hotel. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the shower/bathroom first class. I read some comments before I booked about the location/being a little far out. I think this is an advantage as it’s a quiet area, a quick 5 minute walk to the Metro and from there it doesn’t take long to get into the centre of Madrid. The hotel provides a hearty breakfast to get your day off to a good start.
The taps in the basin didn’t seem to provide warm/hot water but this didn’t take away from what is a very pleasant place to stay.

The staff was really friendly, we arrived about 3 hours before the actual check-in, but they made it possible for us to check in earlier (I didnt check in online, so I couldnt add my request). The bed was really comfortable and in general it was very clean! I loved how they left a handwritten and personalized note in the room. If I come back to Madrid, I'd definitely consider going back here
For me personally I think 14€ per day for breakfast is quite expensive for what you actually get, but you can always use the 24h open bar right next to it!

Cleanliness, friendly staff , facilities are great , free snacks and drinks , family friendly
It's 15 to 25 min to Gran Via by car it costs 9- 15 Euro for one way depends on the time , ordering taxis taking some time specially for a group . Bus station is nearby but it takes 42 min to Gran via , no train station nearby it is 1km+ from the hotel and u have to change the train , considering the cold weather it was Difficult to use it with a family. Just keep it in mind and consider it on your travel budget

I loved the snack bar. It's a first for me and I think the hotel is very thoughtful to have it. It created a way for my friends and I to spend time together and unwind after a long day. The snack and drink choices were excellent. I loved the tea flavors as well. Thank you, Artiem!
The fact that I couldn't make payment in usd cash, but had to trek to a bureau to exchange euros. But then again, it's okay since it's the hotel policy.

The room and common spaces in the hotel are very clean. The staff at the reception are very kind and attentive to your wishes. Good breakfast, with cold meats, cheeses, eggs - on request, tarts and pastry, fresh fruit. Near the breakfast room, there is an area with juices, water, coffee, tea, pastry, salads, and wines (very good) – no fees.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not have its own restaurant. The breakfast service schedule on weekends is from 8 o'clock, this means that for those who have a flight in the morning until 10 o'clock, breakfast becomes unavailable. You can ask the reception to prepare a kind of "picnic" for you, but it does not compare to the breakfast offered in the hotel, and the bottled juice has a metal cap that cannot be opened by hand - so you cannot use it if you do not have a tool suitable. The room had a window that opened to a space between the walls, which is why it was darker. Very tight underground parking space - surcharge.
