- the sofa in my room was old and not comfortable, I informed the receptionist to replace it or something, the lady said she will see and come back to me but she never did. - the breakfast buffet staff were nice to me the first day but the second they treated me like I’m almost invisible ( maybe they wanted me to tip the first day but I went to breakfast without wallet, this is really weird)

The hotel was terrific. You realize you are in a quality hotel when you walk in the door. Our stay was about 4 weeks, we stayed 2 weeks here and 2 weeks in another hotel. The quality was night and day, and they both are rated 5 stars. This was truly a 5-star hotel.

Wish the pool was a little more family-friendly. It was a beautiful pool, but really just for a quick dip and get out.

The Hotel is superbly located. Just 2 minutes walk to the Beach and 5 mins walk to Marbella Old Town. The Hotel has a beach bar/restaurant so you can choose to sit by the pools or at the beach, the choice is yours. The facilities at the Hotel are top notch, modern and well maintained. The Hotel has gone through a total multi-million refurbishment and it shows. All the staff are friendly, attentive and well trained. A very well-run hotel. I would have no qualms in recommending it.

Nothing. It was that good. The only comment I will make is the clientelle are a slightly older generation but that could be the time we went in mid/late September. I think it is more geared to family/well-healed oldies but that is just an observation NOT a criticism.

El Fuerte stands out as one of the best accommodations I've experienced during my vacation in Spain. The staff was wonderful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The amenities were impeccably clean, and the seafront pools and restaurants offered breathtaking views and exceptional dining options. The location was simply perfect. Additionally, the rooms were spacious and quiet, providing a restful retreat. Each bathroom was well-stocked with all necessary amenities and featured advanced smart toilets equipped with remote controls, adding a touch of modern luxury to my stay. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit to El Fuerte.

Customer service and gated hotel is a big plus You have real satisfaction knowing your family is safe and you will be sure to enjoy all the facilities because they are simply superb Especially considering the views and the being in the heart of the old town Don’t forget the roof top pool ! Staff are interpersonal and great at constant acknowledgment of your needs Valet staff ensure swift entrance and exit It’s an all in package !

I noticed an very minor design flaw in my room Which meant the ceiling fan could not be operated if you wanted to open the cupboard door as it would hit the top Just a note !

We loved the hotel grounds, the outdoor pool, the room design & decor and the indoor pool area are very nice. There is nice aromas all around the hotel. We loved the toilet which comes with a remote control for cleaning and air drying. It also has heated seats! The beds were very comfortable which helped us sleep very well each night You can book the indoor pool area (like a spa) I’d recommend!! The location is fantastic, close to the old town (los naranjos) for food & drinks and a great atmosphere. It’s also beachfront so very nice for a walk down the promenade with a range of bars & restaurants. The staff were very good especially at the front door.

The staff & service at the terrace restaurant was poor, it took ages to even get a menu, and then order and also then to pay. They were very friendly but the service was slow. The food & drinks were over priced for the quality you get, such as chips are 9euro and down the street they are much less and just as delicious.

Everything was wonderful, the staff and the facilities were exceptional. The staff were always very helpful and kind. The hotel was immaculate and we had a fabulous time. We celebrated one of our birthdays and Katarina and the guest experience girls helped us with a surprise and decorated the room beautifully for it. They were so helpful and amazing in sorting this out for us! We were so grateful! I also won guest of the day award and was given access to the spa and a cocktail at the bar which was a wonderful surprise! We extended our stay because we loved it so much and we will definitely come back to stay here! Thank you to all the wonderful staff, especially Katarina and the guest experience girls, you were amazing!

Location is very good close to the old town and the beach behind it was beautiful.. breakfast is one of the best comparing to other hotels in Europe.. Thank you to Hussain in reception.

The housekeeping needs some attention in cleaning and replacing amenities.. also having shattaf in the toilet is better than the useless bidet.. drainage in banjo was slow and slippery.

Breakfast was really good, food was good and till 11 which is nice because its late enough to have a lay in if you want one. The singer they had a breakfast was a lovely touch. Location was 10/10 you could walk into orange square and down the front to all restaurants, shops, bars. The room and bathroom was decent only thing I could say was there wasn't much room between the end of the bed and the unit however the bed was VERY comfortable and big. The door/bellboy staff were exceptional polite and lovely. We had a car and they was very attentive.

Not much at all. We stayed with friends and they agreed with us as well.
