Excellent location - close to all important sightseeing points in the city and the port. From the balcony of our room (121) there was a fine view over the fortress (Melilla la Vieja) WiFi was OK.

Although the hotel has obviously had a major facelift to bring it to the standards of the 21st century, there is a lot of space for improvements: 1. Mattresses should be changed - due to the prolonged use their central part has become permanently lower than the edges 2. There is only one chair in the room - pls add a couple of chairs and a coffee table (even of cheap, plastic type) on the balcony, as the view is fine 3. The inside of the fridge is rusty (but it works) 4. The outdoor A/C unit is rusty at the edges (we haven't tried it as the weather hasn't been too hot). Be aware that various noisy events (like concerts, etc) that last till late may take place at the nearby Plaza de las culturas.

A very nice and lovely hotel in the center of Melilla, in a beautiful street. Easy to find it and a short way to the main square, park, restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly. We were given a wonderful room with a balcony and the view to the old castle. The room had everything necessary, including even toothbrush and shaving set :) Breakfast costs 6 euros but it is very big and tasty, and the hotel restaurant itself is beautiful. There you can also have lunch and dinner.

If neighbors are a bit loud, you hear them easily

The hotel has the best location in the city center, very close to the port and to the old city. The room has all the facilities (wifi, hairdryer, air condition, fridge and even a balcony). The staff is very kind and available. I could leave the luggage at the hotel after the check out and when I came back I could even recharge my mobile. There is the opportunity to have breakfast on the last floor where there is a terrace that offers a nice view on the city. All around there are shops, bars and restaurants.

The price for a solo traveller is a little bit expensive even if cheaper than the other accomodation in the city. The last day the electronic key didn't work, fortunately the cleaner helped me twice (to avoid to go again to the reception and manage it). Not all the staff speaks English. I needed to print a document but the pc in the hall didn't work.

This is my third visit and stay at Hotel Anfora and each time I receive a very warm welcome . It's like going back to stay with friends . The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, from calling taxis to printing Boarding Passes .

The hotel is very clean and pleasant. The room was large and it had a nice balcony facing the sea and castle. The bathroom was bright and recently updated. Towels were clean and fresh. The room had a mini-refrigerator and a comfortable chair - it would have been nice to have two comfy chairs. The bedding and drapes are dark and old (dated) but clean. The location is excellent and the staff were kind and helpful. We enjoyed a great stay.

a small table and 2 chairs on the balcony would be nice. Also, a hot water kettle in the room with coffee cups and instant coffee/tea would be a plus.

I have stayed at the hotel before, when I arrived in Melilla as an English teacher. Lovely hotel

An iron in the room would have been better. When you have traveled for so long (although the ironing service was cheap) I had lots of stuff to iron.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything was in good order and spotlessly clean, the staff was responsive, and the location was excellent. I was lucky to be on a high floor with a balcony overlooking the city.

The sound insulation from the hallway wasn't perfect--I could hear doors opening and closing (not a big deal for me).

This was my fourth visit and the Hotel never fails to please . The staff are all very friendly and I look forward as seeing them again 😊
