Everything worked OK and the bed was comfy. All was quite clean and generally worked. It would benefit if maintenance replaced the seals in the sink plugs as they didn't hold water for very long but that is a minor gripe. Breakfast had a good selection of foods, the restaurant was clean and there were enough staff on duty which is gratifying to see as we recently stayed in a couple of Paradors where there was 1 person for over 50 guests. The breakfast option when booking the room here was good value.

As usual, the sauna was on out of action - as seems normal for Spanish hotels. The description of "Balcony" is rather over stating it. You can't get a chair on there. And having a fridge in the room would be good.

The hotel is out of town, on the other side of the River Guadiana. We chose the hotel (having been there before) to avoid having to take the car into the city-centre traffic. The room was very spacious, light and comfortable, and as an extra plus we were able to enjoy our own jacuzzi! Staff were friendly and efficient. When we didn't want to stay in the town centre for dinner on the first night we were able to have an excellent Italian meal in the shopping centre across the road from the hotel.

Some people might be put off by the walk (c. 30 minutes) into the town. However, we had chosen this to avoid city-centre traffic and the walk, or most of it, is very pleasant including crossing the 2000-year-old Roman bridge!

The location met our needs and we had free parking in the grounds. The room was large, airy and the beds comfortable, bathroom facilities excellent, clean linen and towels. The breakfast was in the restaurant and there was a good variety of food, the coffee machine delivered a good cup. The staff at reception were curtious and helpful. The garden area was very well kept. U

The bar area was where we were served our dinner, it was cold and the seating not very comfortable. The menu was what I would expect in a casual dining cafe. It could be that as it was Sunday that there was no restaurant open but that was not said to us then. It was only on Monday morning that we realised that there was a proper restaurant in another room where breakfast was served.

Easy to find off motorway. Lovely clean pool open when staying in September. Staff very pleasant. Good WiFi.

A little tired looking in places but understand been done up at present. The food obtions let it down,went for cafeteria special club sandwich meal on arrival but were told not available till 8.30 pm. Returned to restaurant at 8.30pm but we got fed up waiting even though we were the only guests and went outside of hotel to eat. Breakfast was chaotic as had a couch party in and finding it hard to replenish choices.

The comfy room, amazing and lovely staff, and good breakfast.

Unfortunately, there was a music bar crossing the street and our room stayed directly from them, so too much noise at the beginning of the night. I know that inconvenience was not under the Hotel management but you need to take it into account if you want to stay in there, apart from that amazing stay.

Great decoration based on the city theme. Staff was nice, the swimming pool is really good and has plenty of supporting facilities. The breakfast is very good with a solid variety. Location is good with every service nearby, the downside is that you’re in the middle of 2 main roads.

Mini fridge in the room should be mandatory for an hotel like this. Specially in a place where temperatures generally go over 35•C Swimming Pool closing between 14:00 and 16:00 is understandable but still a negative.

A very smooth and enjoyable experience. Lovely swimming pool, great breakfast, big, cool, comfortable air-conditioned rooms. Staff were extremely helpful.

The location was fine, but a little too far out of town for walking on a hot August day. Some parts of the hotel were cordoned off. The pool only opens at 11, so no time for a morning swim before leaving.

Breakfast is very good. Pool is also awsome. Staff is very friendly and always available to help you on our questions. Mall accross the street with some options to eat on lunch or dinner.

My old son was affraid to sleep on the top bed because it didn't felt safe. He slept with us on the main bed and young daughter on the lower bed (it is a bunk bed). I heard some strange noises inside the walls of the room. Seemed like some kind of animal was inside the walls.

Easy access from the Motorway, very comfortable room and beds, ease of checking in and out, decent wi fi, and the breakfast was exceptional 👍

Dinner was a big disappointment,cold plate with Pork Cheeks getting cooler by the second and the restaurant surroundings is abismall but the breakfast restaurant is totally different really nice so all in all we would stay here again as it is good value for money

This was our second stay at this hotel as we traversed through Spain, once again the hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the water for the shower was hot. Views out across the town were pleasant and staff on the front desk were helpful. Secure parking could not be reserved but has always been available. Breakfast is the typical cold meats, cheeses and pastries buffet, an attempt is made to provide a hot alternative but it is best avoided. It cost 10 euros booked ahead or 15 euros on the morning so decide the night before! A taxi into the very lively town to see the various spectacular roman ruins is 6-10 euros, there is a plethora of local Spanish restaurants to chose from. If you just want a bed for the night the restaurant opposite the hotels' steps is ridiculously cheap (burgers 6-10 euros), and surprisingly good quality.

The only slight negative is the early morning noise due to the corridor floors being marble.
