Housekeeping every day. Clean hotel which smelt beautiful too. Fridge in the room Hot water clean towels Location . A sense of peace in the hotel Beautiful surroundings Lovely grounds and pool . Great view across the location from our room Great staff (all of them ) they all made us feel welcome and at home . We had a couple of issues in the restaurant and the staff (once they were informed ) were very obliging and courteous .I could only praise all of them. such nice staff 😁 every single one of them ,without exception . Many thanks to them all . They work so hard and seem to work well as a team in the restaurant and always with a smile and some fun about them too . We always had something nice to eat at dinner time for the main course . Not the best food selection I've ever had in a 4 star hotel but definitely value for money and positive, so we were very pleased overall. Everyone really wanted to do the best job they could do for us as guests ,and this is something that was felt by us whilst we were in the hotel 😁 I would recommend this hotel and we would like to return again.!

Desserts a disaster .same every day !😫the main thing synthetic cake squares all different colours, different colour jelly hard cubes, some sort of mouse with various tastes and flavours ( none of them nice all seemed cheap , but my husband liked the coffee one ) Oh and rice pudding !! I mean you wouldn't starve , but it's nice to have some sort of sweet treat to look forward to. No ice cream or yogurt or anything that had any imagination to it. They did serve fruit which helped .they could do so much more to give a better experience on the desserts . Suppose it helped me not to eat too much sweet! 😉 It would be fab to have a kettle in the room !

Beautiful small hotel with delicate fragrance. Smallish room but comfortable and adequate for our stay. Breakfast superb with broad choice of dishes, I would prefer some sort of service, rather than totally buffet, Suggest one should be "shown" to a table and offered tea or coffee or cold drink.

Absence of service at breakfast. - but small point....in relation to the whole stay. Equally a "shuttle service" to Mijas, would have been nice. Service from taxi was slow....

We appreciated heating in the room as we spent 12 days in a hotel during February/March. Staff at the reception desk and housekeeping was very friendly and helpful, nice to see that sustainability is important for them. Breakfast was good, we could use more variety in dinner buffet. We haven't experience any problems with mosquitos as someone mentioned here before. It is true that in our room were only 2 wall sockets - one at each side of the bed and they were used for night lamps - we were ready for that as we read it in previous reviews, but it is something that could be improved. Overall we enjoyed our stay here :)

- lack of sockets - it would be great to add more wall sockets or provide guests with extension cable with more slots. - some of the furniture in the room was very used and there were stains on the wall - it wasn't problem for us, but if someone expects everything perfect for 4 star hotel, this could be disappointing

Bed size was good. Breakfast was good. Bus stops right outside the hotel. Pool area was a pretty good size with a good amount of beds until the last few days when it was very busy. Wedding reception held there was brilliant.

The water in the lobby would benefit from being topped up more frequently. The bar shutting at 11pm promptly was limiting, although I appreciate many of the rooms faced onto the area where people may have sat having a drink, causing late night noise if it had stayed open.

The hotel was easy to find, ample parking just outside and leaving you'd be driving out to the main road to Mijas. Ideal. The hotel looked very pretty, we especially liked the landscaping and gardens. Our dog loved the walks on the country roads around the hotel. Good breakfast. We looked in the gym which seemed wonderfully high tech.

We thought the main restaurants buffet dinner offering was too much, both for quantity and price. Bar food was ok but not great. Green Alhambra four euro a bottle. To get the last evening pee for the dog a bit complicated. Isolated in terms of finding alternative food choices.

Appearance, big pool and sun bathing areas plus staff very friendly

1 - Repeatedly asked for balcony, booked double room and when i rang the hotel from England was told to cancel booking and rebook with pool view as they had balconies, did that but it was not in the description so messaged several times to request balcony and we would pay difference - never had a single response and of course on arrival no balcony! Bathroom tiles badly need seeing too - appeared old, dirty looking and needing repair Food at dinner - the main course food ie meat and fish were barely warm

The location was lovely. Very quiet and not far from Mijas Pueblo. The pool was very special, with views down to the sea and towns below. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable (especially the beds). We had a triple room and there was plenty of space. The breakfast was quite expensive but there was a good variety of items on offer.

The parking was rather difficult. It is a small car park and people tend to park very close to your doors. This was an issue for us because someone had blocked our driver's door and it took a lot of manoeuvring to get out of the space. There is very little space to swing out. Fortunately, I had a family member to guide me out but we were moving centimetre by centimetre. I would have struggled without the assistance.

Breakfast was amazing had everything you would expect and more. Freshly cooked and bread meats and salad very fresh . No complaints from us.

Mosquitoes a nightmare !!!! Think something needs to be done as they everywhere in bedrooms and bar /breakfast area . We bitten very badly and had to go pharmacy for treatment . Our stay January this time and last time it was early June same problem . Has put us off returning again . Which is a shame as hotel grounds facilities are fabulous .

Large room, powerful hot shower, kettle in room on request, very quiet, and pet friendly. Dog bed, bowls, chew toy, dog biscuits and can of water all supplied on arrival. Relaxing atmosphere, spacious lobby where you can have a drink with your dog, garden area and terrace. Only a short drive up to Mijas Pueblo.

As my dog was not permitted in the dining area, I intended to eat on the terraced area outside as is often the case. However, this area was not covered and as it had recently rained all tables and seats were soaked. So had to go up to Mijas for meals where we were both welcomed in several eateries. A small but avoidable issue, especially considering the extensive doggie welcome pack waiting in the room and the pet friendly attitude off all staff.

Breakfast was always good,omelettes excellent.Some excellent members of staff,reception always good and the lunchtime ladies always gave good service.

Coffee was not a good standard,very weak.Some of the bar staff were very slow in service,mainly the male members. The fare offered for evening meal was disappointing,was on half board for 7 nights and only ate there twice,both times options and quality were poor,not enjoyable,so decided not to try again.
