Host Celeste is very welcoming and helpful, you can borrow a parasol for the beach from her. Breakfast is good with homemade jams and we had a very nice home cooked dinner in the evening. The terrace is very charming, beautiful cacti and trees, nice pool. In the evening the view is amazing overlooking the valley with all the lights. The room in rural style is very charming. I definitely recommend to stay here!

I have noticed this in other hotels too, so probably that's how it is in Spain, the bed is good but what's with the sheets and duvet without cover on top? I think normally it's so hot you don't need a duvet. I would like a cover on the duvet too.

Beautiful location high in the valley just above Nijar. View out across the plains towards the coast at Cabo da Gata (lots of plastic polyfields unfortunately, but that's the area). An old farmhouse converted into a very characterful B&B. The rooms are not hotel-style but are very cozy (we were there in November) and comfortable. The terrace with pool is lovely and the breakfast excellent. Celeste is a wonderful host. The walk up the mountain from the hotel along the old water mills route is absolutely stunning.

The place is about out of Nijar up a hill so be prepared for a walk into town. In November, there's not much going on ion Nijar - a lot of restaurants don't open, or are often shut. So, be prepared to drive.

The rural hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location. It is an ideal starting point for mountains, the beach or a stroll through town. The rooms are tastefully furnished with a rural ambience. Outstanding is the loving and very courteous care by the hostess Celeste and her team. She gives this hotel a very personal touch. Her cuisine is unique and selected regionally. You shouldn't just have breakfast, you should also have dinner here. Her tips for things to do surpass any guide book. Those who love this corner of Spain have found their destination here.

The bathroom had no door but only a curtain.

It was jsut perfect from start to finish. Celeste was the best hoar you could ask for - so many great recommendations and always going above and beyond to make us comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, the pool was beautiful, and the whole place was so peaceful. The town also exceeded our expectations with a lovely atmosphere and a lot more restaurants and shops than we anticipated. Just perfect!

Host Celeste is very gracious, friendly, informative. Good breakfast with fruit and homemade jam. Good atmosphere to interact with other travellers. Healthy, interesting evening meals available on request.

A bit hard to find at the top end of Nijar.

Very clean and beautiful area, the best host we had during our trip in Andalucia, the only place excepted big hotels, where was served house hot omlette and home-made jams, celest was helping with planning trips to the cost everyday (weather conditions, traffic roads etc), she Speaks English very well.

Celeste was very welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the setting in peaceful and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great.

The road getting to the property is a little narrow in spots but it was otherwise fine.

Celeste is a wonderful host and was very helpful. She even called out a man to mend a puncture during a public holiday! The accommodation is what we expected , basic and in a stunning setting breakfast was excellent

unfortunately Celeste is not providing dinner and this was offered on the web site the hotel is a mile from town and not much is available there!

Everything...it was so peaceful and beautiful.... and Celeste was absolutely fabulous. We opted for the dinner on the Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary and it was wonderful including the wine. Thank you, Celeste, you made our stay so special. We will definitely return.

Fabulous, unique accommodation in historic buildings. Super friendly and helpful host . Great breakfast !
