The staff were amazing and helpful. I was walking the camino de Santiago in a downpour and they came and got me from Casa Avelina within 5 minutes of texting on WhatsApp - and showed me where to rejoin the camino from the hotel the following day . They even took my soaking wet hiking boots and told me they will put them near a heating pipe and they were dry the next morning . Laundry service great for 8€ wash and dry . Decent food - my room had a bathtub which was very appreciated - so basically for the price I felt very pampered and well taken care of - great break from the camino albergues .

Good value for money. This was my cheapest night's accommodation on the Camino Ingles. The restaurant does simple but filling food - big portions. The open fire is great on a cold evening. They also offer a free pick-up service for pilgrims, from Casa Avelina or from the municipal albergue in Hospital de Bruma, which is really useful if you have sore feet and/or don't want to walk the extra distance to O Meson do Vento.

The location isn't great, but if you're on the Camino Ingles then you have to weigh that up against the lack of amenities in Hospital de Bruma.

Hotel Canaima is in a fairly remote location on the Camino Ingles. I have stayed here a number of times and I believe that then staff appreciate how necessary their hotel is for pilgrims. I recommend the hotel to everyone who is travelling through the region on the journey to Santiago.

It was a little out of the way from the Camino, but they have a service to pick up at Bruma, and explained how to get to the path on the following day, which was very easy to do. The staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was fine, comfortable, good bathroom; there's a decent restaurant with excellent staff who do a great job of taking care of their customers

Nothing in particular

An excellent option if walking the Camino Ingles. The section from Hospital de Bruma to Sigueiro has few accommodation options if you want to break up this 25km. walk. We stayed at Hotel Canaima for two nights. Walked to cafe O Cruceiro at A Calle without our backpacks and our host arranged a taxi to pick us up for the return to the hotel. He then arranged for the taxi to return us to A Calle the next morning. (€13.00). All meals available at the hotel I including breakfast from 7.00.

Not too far from the Camino, have a pick up from Bruma which we didn't use. Staff very friendly and helpful especially the young man who booked us in. Food was very good in the restaurant and breakfast was very good as well.

Double bed against the wall made it difficult to get in and out of that side of the bed.

Helpful staff and size of room. Food in dining room also very good.

Not much to do or see due to size of Mason Do Vento, but convenient enough for Camino Ingles and hey can pick you up from Cafe Angelina

This was a great stop for the Camino! We were collected form casa avelino(definitely stop for a drink here). The hotel is good value for money/ comfortable and clean! We had dinner in the hotel and it was lovely and simple but tasty! the Tortilla and orange juice for breakfast was fab!

Nothing loved it!

They have free pick-up service from Bar casa Avelina. This was very nice after heavy walk. Room was nice and clean. Room even had a bathtube. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It had everything we needed and we would recommend it

It's a little off the Camino and a remote spot but that's part of the adventure
