The hotel was incredible, so clean and comfortable, in a great location to explore Oviedo and beyond. The staff were the best part, all of them so lovely, friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Alberto who was very sweet, and the best person we met on our travels. He really took care of us, helped us plan our day trips and always checked in with us to make sure we were happy, even when he wasn't working and just happened to bump into us in the street! . We will definitely come back here again. Thank for a lovely stay.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generally very good and one could even order omelettes with different ingredients.

The coffee machine in the room did not work. The location is not ideal as it is quite a long walk away from the town centre. There is an underground parking garage but our vehicle could not access this as it was too high. It was only on the last night that we were allowed to use the reserved parking space in front of the hotel. Breakfast on the last day was a disaster as all dishes were empty at 8am! Staff informed us that it will take at least 45 minutes for the dishes to be replenished.

Lovely big room and enormous comfortable bed. The colour scheme of the room was very nice. Luxurious bathroom. Breakfast had a good range of foods.

The breakfast coffee machine did not list that decaffeinated coffee was available in English, although it did list it in Spanish. The bedroom could have had a second comfortable chair. If you were arriving on foot with baggage the street entrance using a lift from the side access to the car park was not very appealing; it lacked the grandeur of a 5 star hotel.

The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had booked two rooms connected by a private hall and it was the perfect combination for a family of four with two young kids. We had lunch at the hotel’s restaurant a few times and the food was delicious. This was our second time at the Barceló Cervantes and we will certainly be back.

Everything was good and service by the two reception staff (23 Mar afternoon and 24 Mar noon)was consistently excellent. Went beyond call of duty to help me drive my car out of car park cause the turnings in the car park was very narrow for me as I was less experienced to left hand drive. Requested additional room on check-in and staff make effort to quote best rate without prompting. The staff is the differentiator….genuine empathy for guests.

Car park. Single lane and tight corners for in and out traffic. Not good for those used to right hand drive!

Very stylish and hip hotel, the breakfast was amazing, the best we have had in Spain, very fresh ingredients, delicious quiche and tarts, cereal, the best of Asturias ham and cheese in a very spacious and relaxing breakfast room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, spacious room.

Layout of the bathroom. Common dressing area and small cubicles with a swing door each for the toilet and the shower. No place to hang towels and clothes even inside the shower room. Hardly any counter space for toiletries either.

On arrival the front desk staff were friendly and helpful in advising us where to eat and what to do. The room was spacious but we had to keep the privacy curtain open for light as it was not well lit. We were traveling thru Spain by car and booked this hotel mainly because it had car parking.

We found it quite far from most things especially the Old town but this meant it was quieter so maybe not a bad thing.

A superbly comfortable and attractively designed hotel, well worth its 5 stars and excellent value for money. The breakfast was also superb even including avocado,smoked salmon and empanadas. My room was really spacious and the spa shower room was fun. An attractive breakfast and dining room. 15 minutes walk to the old town and the railway station. Reception staff were friendly and always helpful.

Despite the spaciousness and otherwise excellent design of the room and bathroom, the wardrobe area was less well designed and lacked any drawer space for tops and underwear which had to go at floor level.

The spacious rooms, comfortable beds, large bathrooms and decor. The staff were helpful and friendly, with a special mention going to Gabri on reception for always being so warm and welcoming. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of both the old part and new part of the city, the bus and train stations, a lovely local park, supermarkets and restaurants.

The room was great - good size and shower sand toilets are 5 star quality however the view was terrible. Location was centric within Oviedo. Bed was comfortable. Had tapas and salad one evening in the lounge - relaxed after hard days work and it was good quality food and ideal to just relax.

The parking was very tight especially for foreigners not accostomed to Spanish parkings.
