Cleaning wasn't great, just small touches like bathroom bin was full, lots of dust on the slightly harder to reach places like the extractor fan hood There was a really bad smell from the drains that had we been at the property longer than 36 hours would have really started to bother us. Booked this place partly because of having a fireplace, this is the first accommodation with a fireplace I've ever been to that I had to source my own wood for the fire, a small touch but one that meant when we arrived late ready to light a fire and be cosy in the mountains, we couldn't. For four people, price would be very reasonable, for two it felt a little expensive.

What was there not to like?! It was clean and cozy and well equipped, with an amazing view from the balcony, comfortable beds, good showers, and it just honestly had everything you need (minus a freezer). We even bought some wood to light the fireplace (but not because it was cold but because we wanted to). We cooked as the kitchen was well equipped (though families might need a bigger pot). Ramon made a lovely information document that points you to different hikes and activities and we enjoyed going for long and short hikes, foraging berries and mushrooms. We would have stayed longer as it just felt so relaxing and peaceful and it was our favorite place that we stayed in and are 3 weeks in Spain.

There was nothing not to like but as written, families might need bigger pots

We had a large, well appointed apartment with a terrace and wonderful views of the mountains-really relaxing. The hosts were so welcoming and it was tough to leave. Absolutely magical place

Superb apartment with even better views. We stayed in El Podall and had everything we needed. Top floor balcony views were amazing. The garden was beautiful. Easy access for some great walks and also just 5 minutes from Ribes Enlac train station and a ride to Núria. Ramon, his wife and son Mark were very helpful and concerned that everything was top notch.

If you are looking for a quiet retreat in an apartment with fantastic views in a great location looking down over the valley then look no further,Our apartment was furnished to a high standard and there is everything you need.Nothing has been forgotton .The owners were friendly and helpful.A marvellous place to relax and unwind for a few days.

Our host, Ramon, was very welcoming and keen to share things to see and do in the area The villa has been very tastefully renovated, down to the monogrammed towels, and a very homely feel The silence is magnificent- only interrupted by the local “cuckoo” bird and the tinkling of bells from the horses ! The outdoor area is excellent with the garden furniture under the gazebo, chairs under the umbrella The views are fantastic

Could not checkin early and could not get in contact with host Good breakfast but not a healthy setup (as most places). Would differentiate by offering healthy alternative (include eggs, wholemeal bread etc.)

The perfect combination between modern architecture and old style the Masia has been reformed with. Ramon and Concepción have been the best hosts ever! They have been friendly and careful all the time. We've really loved to meet them and we hope to come back soon to the Casassa. The quiet and the atmosphere that you can feel here make it the perfect place to disconnect from everyday stress, both in summer and in winter.
