The staff. The hotel is an average business hotel with minimum amenities, some of those are not working. But the amazing staff makes your visit worth. Specially the ladies in the evening shift. My key did not work, she came with me. The emailing invoice did not work, they gave me print out. They called me a taxi early in the morning for the airport. In best possible way they supported my stay. Also the room was clean, bed was comfy, organic supermarket in 50 mt and the hotel is walkable from S2 subway to Barcelona. (Just consider it is zone 2c, Barcelona card doesn’t work here)

I think hotel management need to put some serious effort in the maintenance. One of the elevators didn’t work. Internet is shaky. Breakfast is nice but no variation if u stay for more than one night. Coffee machine, some functions didn’t work etc.

Reliable friendly staff. Always welcoming. Knowledgeable about the local area. 4 good eateries within 3 minute walk. Italian Tagliatelle, Cafe Belgrado, hip live music drinks venue with tasty Spanish fusion food. Viena, Spanish fast food but very tasty made while you wait and another bar 1 minute further. I stay regularly at the Venture and it never disappoints. Good breakfast and great coffee and drinks if you don't want to move. directly opposite is petrol station with convenient store with a bit of everything. I can't recommend Hotel Venture more for superb location and great value for money.

Very clean. Very well managed. The air-conditioning was very good as well and they also had a fridge in the room which was very useful. The location was very convenient and the general area was lovely. 30 minutes to get into the centre via 1 train so that was very useful. We had a little issue with the breakfast when we arrived, however Laura one of the staff members sorted this out for us and she was very empathetic and understanding. We really appreciate her help. The breakfast was very well made and genuinely delicious. Overall a very lovely place to stay and really good value for money.

I like breakfast selections and very clean! I like they clean my room daily! I like there is a local clean grocery store next door they have fresh bakery and sushi daily! They have mini refrigerator in the room 1 share microwave in the lobby kitchen.

One staff member work in the morning shift was not as friendly:( It would be even better if there’s a self coin laundry on this property!! Please install a washer/dryer for the staying customers !

We spent 2 nights at Venture Hotel. It was a good choice. 5 minutes walking from to the train station where you could get a direct connection to Placa Catalunya (S2). We could also reach the center of Sant Cugat with a lovely stroll along The Central park. It took 15 minutes. We had a free parking slot where we left our car. The room was totally fine for 2 adults and 1 kids, The beds very comfortable. We would choose it again for our next visit in Barcelona.

Nice hotel, clean room and really big comfortable bed. It was a little far from the Barcelona city, but in like 30 minutes you can get to Placa de Catalunya station. So nothing horrible. We were travelling every day to the city. We had Hola Barcelona card for 5 days but the station which is near the hotel - Volpelleres is not in zone 1 but in zone 2C so you going to need different ticket for that particular zone, because with the Hola Barcelona card you won’t be able to leave the station.

On the last night of our stay the AC stoped working, but it was also our fault that we didn’t go to the staff to report the issue. Except from that everything was great.

Very nice view from window to some rock. We had 3rd floor. Staff is friendly and always helped. They can book a taxi to the Airport, it will cost you around 55-70 EUR. We went to the airport at 3 o'clock at night, if your flight is also early, then plan to go to the airport at this time only 20-25 minutes, very quickly. Near the hotel is train station Volpelleres. From here you can reach Barcelona Plaça Catalunya in 35 minutes. Also near the station is nice small supermarket Mercadona. There is small fridge in the room, so you can buy beverages or something else you want. On the left hand when you leave the hotel, there is a very interesting large Mercantic flea market. There are many antiques and several cafes. This is nice hotel for reasonable price. We have chosen this hotel due to proximity to Barcelona. BUT, station Volpelleres is not the ZONE 1 it's 2C, despite some official FGC Train company pages it showed as ZONE 1. So you need to take this in mind when buying tickets. We had Hola Barcelona card for 5 days and it's great for city center, you can use any type of transport unlimited inside this 5 days. To get to the hotel you need another ticket, because Hola Barcelona card won't let you out from the station at Volpelleres, and you can't buy ticket at that station because ticket machine is located behind the turnstiles. You can buy Family card for 8 rides or another suitable option, tmb.cat website is what you need. You can't use single personal card for 2 people, you will be fined.

The breakfast was a bit scanty for us. We are used to the fact that in European hotels they usually offer muesli/granola, oatmeal, green salads. This hotel has only sweet pastries, several types of bread, cheese, Jamon, smoky salmon and eggs and some fruits. All products are good, but sandwiches are not what we are used to eating in the morning. We lacked fibre.

As Barcelona was really overpriced, I decided to stay in Sant Cugat. The hotel is close to the rail, which brings you to Placa Catalunya in 40mins for less than 3 €, almost round the clock. And Sant Cugat is a nice little place if you enjoy a quieter location. The room is big and very comfortable. I stayed one night in Barcelona in a room twice as expensive, half as big and of a far lower standard. The hotel is modern and clean and I can recommend it all around!!

Hotel allowed us to check in early which was a lovely gesture after a long trip - parking provided for free on site which is an added bonus. Also a free bottle of water per guest in the room. Staff were all really friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom could do with an update but fine for our needs and the price. One of two lifts was out of service which was a minor inconvenience when coming and going. Parking is also very tight. Fine in the off season but I can imagine it gets tricky to park when the hotel is full!

A hotel with very nice staff, good breakfast and very clean. Not every 3 star hotel is changing the sheets daily and make the room like new again, but here it happened. The room was spacious with a very big bed. Wifi was fast and the uptime was good. The position is very good, with a lot of restaurants and groceries nearby. Also the train station was very close, connected with the Sant Cugat University or Barcelona.
