Lovely hotel, makes you feel you're in a movie. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could think of. The kind of bedroom you wished you could have in your own home. I loved it. There is an amazing balcony/veranda facing the green valley which would have been a perfect spot for your breakfast or just a cup of coffee any time. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans for our stay! Eva made sure we had everything we needed all the time. She had the heating on a boost for when we arrived so that our room was warm. She even lent me a jacket and jumper as I had not packed the right clothes for the weather we had!

I would have preferred the breakfast as a spread/buffet rather than having to ask for things or being offered. But that is personal choice.

The hotel had lots of character and was clean and well presented. The village and surroundings are lovely.

There was no atmosphere at all - there were hardly any guests and we had to call a number to check in as there were no staff either. The breakfast was very repetitive - it was exactly the same three days running within no choices!

It was out second stay at Cal Sastre. The first one was in 2017 and it left great memories. The second time was not different. We were warmly received by Eva, owner and manager of the hotel. Eva is tireless to help you with anything you can possibly imagine. She handles the hotel and takes care of the breakfast. The rooms are cozy and very clean. Great atmosphere! The restaurant is handled by Eva’s husband, Jesus. What to say about the food? Well, people come from Barcelona to eat at the restaurant. Jesus prepares the best gin tonic ever and will surprise you with all sorts of drinks, “amuse bouches” of all types and a great, really tasteful food. You just feel at home with Eva and Jesus. Looking forward to the next time!!

We had the suite, excellent. First floor, lift, easy checkin, great family business, so exceptional attention and service. Location stunning, restoration first class and fantastic restaurant serving typical Catalan cuisine and good wine list.

In the centre of a medieval town. Charming, interesting decor. Bedroom extremely comfortable. The restaurant was very good, with excellent service. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, forthcoming with information.

The place is wonderful located just in the middle of the old town, with a refreshing pool and nice and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very nice.

Access to the old town is not great, which is understandable, but clearer directions on how to access and where to park would be appreciated.

We loved the place! The owner Eva was super nice and made sure our stay was as comfortable and cosy as possible. Breakfast was served personally by her every morning, they served a generous continental breakfast with local products. They really made us feel at home during our stay.

Every single detail in the hotel was given great consideration from the way the building had been renovated and decorated to remembering exactly what each guest liked for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Eva who made every effort to suggest interesting walks and made us a picnic to take with us. She helped make my husband’s birthday special too .

There was nothing about our stay that we disliked

The hotel has been beautifully restored and is full of lovely antiques, artwork and has been beautifully decorated too. The rooms are huge, with a large sitting area and a large bedroom and bathroom. There is a huge TV, safe, good wifi, fridge, wardrobes and lots of power points too and the room was very quiet. The shower is big and very efficient and we had two washbasins. There are lots of windows overlooking the town, so the rooms are very light. Everything was very clean and well appointed. It is right in the centre of the old town and there is free parking a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was fabulous and there was fresh OJ, toast , tomatoes, cold meat selection and cheese, followed by pastries and coffee.
