We stayed in a " bungalow " which really is a small suite with a mezzanine level and a small balcony.. View is stupendous looking down the gorge. Room was kept warm as when we stayed In Feb as the evenings could be chilly. Great base for walking with lots of way marked trails. (DWG walking guide and map recommended Amazon ) Plenty of car parking. Half board is essential as there are not many places to eat in the village or supermarkets especially in the winter months. Excellent food ,reasonable wine list and lounge/bar area. Table service evenings / buffet breakfast. Up a very steep hill from the village so do not expect to be up and down it too often!

Some of the evening main dishes were a little too salty for my taste but that was a minor issue

Room ( junior suite) was spacious and lovely and warm

I have to say first that everything was almost perfect The only minor annoyance was the shower ! The bathroom definitely needs updating with a walk - in shower. This could still be in keeping with the rustic charm, but modern. There was no shower curtain and the shower head would not fit on the wall bracket, so subsequently there was water over the tiled floor during showering and this was dangerous. The bathroom towels were thin and of poor quality for a 4 star hotel.

Good size bedroom with comfortable bed, bottle water, 40"+ TV on wall and plenty of space for clothes. Good size shower cabinet with quality products. Hairdryer on wall. Breakfast had a vast choice of good quality products. Ample parking with some covered spaces available but these were on uneven and very rough ground. Would return again if in the area.

Wi-fi in room 204 very hit-and-miss. Coffee at breakfast time had an odd taste to it.

This hotel was just beautiful. From the moment we arrived to the time we had to leave everything was exceptional. The views of the surroundings were breathtaking. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The suite was warm and inviting and you could even enjoy the vista from the jacuzzi. The food was delicious with a very different menu. For the whole experience it was great value for money. Cannot wait to return.

There was nothing that we could complain about.

Big, spacious room with place to unpack, which is really convenient, when staying for a couple of nights. Good restaurant, varied breakfast with freshly pressed juices. Staff was friendly and serviceminded. Great views, beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful location. Very nice and clean pool area.

Somewhat bad smell from the drain of the sink.

Everything. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were superb and the location is absolutely stunning. The breakfasts were amazing and the dinners were excellent, made up of local ingredients cooked in a local style. The staff were brilliantly helpful and very friendly. The views. The views were simply breathtaking.

We didn't like leaving.

It's location, spectacular views. Good food. Friendly staff, especially Maria and Rosa in the restaurant.

Late night noise in adjoining rooms, very obvious. Had to leave at 6am on our day of departure and 2 days earlier had been promised a takeaway breakfast which did not materialize.

Loved how isolated it was. Very hard to get to but worth the journey.

Nothing really but maybe a little tired in areas like the bathroom. Food was lovely but if you stay + 2 days would be nice to have another simpler menu for lunchtime. Also the food was over salted each night which was a shame.

When we arrived on cold wet day the hotel had already pre heated the rooms for us, so we were off to a good start. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Both at reception and at meals. I will be back in the warmer months for a little get away with the family.

Spotlessly clean, fantastic staff and excellent food. Breakfast was delicious with so much variety. Hotel was situated at the top of the hill overlooking the village and mountains. Stunning views, peaceful and tranquil. Fantastic outside pool. Room was spacious with great shower and beautiful views. Definitely return
