Lovely small hotel located in the centre of Solsona. Good parking available within a couple of minutes walk. The hotel is nicely designed with clean and comfortable rooms set within converted historic buildings. The interiors are modern whilst retaining many features and character of the original buildings. Very good choice and quality for breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Overall this was good value for money. Solsona is nicely situated in the countryside. I used this as a base for a few days cycling in the area, and there are great routes and scenery in the area. The weather at the end of September was perfect - warm but not too hot. A very enjoyable stay.

The hotel does not do meals so you will need to eat out. This is not an issue as there are a few restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel: Restaurant Fermin is a very traditional restaurant with good food and a very pleasant owner. El Colbert is a large Spanish / Italian restaurant with a good menu including great selection of good quality pizzas. Restaurant Crisami - about 10 minutes walk is a more modern restaurant with very good food and a nice lively atmosphere on a Saturday night. Beware however that for Spain - eating out seems to be a bit earlier - and whilst there are many bars which are busy earlier in the evening Solsona is not a place for late night eating and drinking.

I have been to Solsona before and was aware of the hotel but hadn't stayed there - it is a bit of a hidden gem. I booked at short notice and rang the hotel and they couldn't have been more helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is in the narrow streets of the historic area of Solsona with many bars and restaurants or tapas options nearby.

Magnificent old building, some super old features omn show like the well. Room was super, modern and exceptionally clean, bed nice and comfy. Bathroom was good too. Staff were super helpful, and very organised, wanted to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible.

Nothing of note. Its woirth remembering that if you stay during the week youi are in the old town and a lot of restauarnats are closed.

Lovely hotel in a tranquil setting but still in the historic heart of Solsona. Beautiful and sympathetic restoration of a medieval building with much character and charm. Very friendly, helpful staff and manager. Good quality secure parking. Comfortable, well appointed and spacious room. There is a lovely private courtyard to sit out. Superb breakfast. We would love to stay again in the future. Thank You!

The location of the hotel is great, right in Solsona, we were helped with the parking space, which was convenient. Staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly, especially at breakfast time. Nice breakfast, cooked fresh on request. The rooms are simple, but very clean, a very comfortable bed and a good shower.

Gemma was fantastic, super accommodating and really helpful. The building itself is beautiful, and Solsonna is a lovely town. The room was fantastic, really clean and the balcony was lovely.

The air conditioning didn't work too well, but this was a minor inconvenience compared with all the good points!

The hotel was built in the 14th century and is fascinating. You could not get better staff than Sarah, Gemma etc. they are simply wonderful. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old city, which is terrific. We will definitely return.

A unique, full of character & steeped in history, our room had a small garden which after a long motorbike ride was just fantastic to enable relaxation, Gemma was the perfect host, who was very welcoming, professional & friendly.

This Hotel is in the old town and has been restored with love and quirkiness, the hosts were great and gave a very descriptive tour of the Hotel history. Breakfast was great, continental and a wide choice of meat and on request you could get scrambled eggs, the bacon was to die for, thin strips and crispy. My room was more like a small apartment, with two air con units, very modern with character. For those on motorbike, secure garage two minute walk. The hotel is in easy walking distance to bars and restaurants.

The staff were excellent. Manuel went above and beyond to help us to park, and was an excellent host. The room was lovely, with a balcony, a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The breakfast was laid just for us and we have freshly made scrambled eggs - far and away the best breakfast anywhere on our holiday.
