We love the building and it's set-up having stayed there many times. Good sized, well set out rooms. Breakfast and the set evening meal have many options and are good value. The hotel staff as always were very helpful.

We have noticed several areas/ facilities are showing signs of wear and tear. The air conditioning unit struggled to lower the rooms temperature, the Wifi was non existent in our room and only worked in the Bar area.

Location close to Montafragu National Park. It was easy to find. Menu Del Dia was good value. Breakfast was buffet style, so plenty of it and fresh.

WiFi was not secure. Limited outside seating, but then the pool area was closed. Dinner on the last night, my partner had the Pork Knuckle, which whilst falling off the bone, so had been well cooked earlier, was actually cold in the centre; we assume it was reheated after earlier slow cooking. Possibly down to the fact that there were two tour groups in also.

The Lady on reception was very helpful, we got two rooms that suited us perfectly. They had a Luggage trolley which came in useful. Our rooms were large and very comfortable. We had the breakfast and evening meal option which was good value.

There were a few niggles. The internet was only available in the bar area which was a fair way from our room. The bar itself was rarely manned so the receptionist had to phone for someone to serve.

Nicely placed hotel for visiting the park. The half board is a good deal and almost a necessity as there are no restaurants nearby. Our bed was comfortable and the dinner was surprisingly good. Staff were helpful. Breakfast OK.

A few maintenance issues. No balcony chairs. No coffee in room.

Location is perfect for the national park, bird watching and walking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and choice were excellent, especially as we were the only guests in the hotel. Will definitely stay there again

There was nothing to dislike, but a few areas are getting ready for a new coat of paint

The food at the hotel was innovative and tasty. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Supper was delicious. Our room was comfy and the aircon worked well. We loved the pool. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

The wifi did not work at all in our room - there is one terminal in the reception area which seemed to be the way to connect. At lunchtime there was little on offer other than a full meal in the dining room. Previously it was possible to have a burger and chips or salad at the bar. The staff are deployed in multiple roles. This meant that it was difficult to get bar service as the staff would be serving in the dining room.

We arrived stressed and late. The behavior of the staff was like therapy! Welcoming, calming and so helpful. We have stayed there before so were not totally surprised, but sometimes things change - this did not. The food was exceptional - not only for itself but for the service surrounding it - nothing was too much trouble.

There was nothing to dislike - the performance of the venue was excellent.

Nice place with an outstanding placing in the natural park. Friendly staff and the superior room where excellent. Good value for the money. Nice "menu del dia" in the evening restaurant.

The breakfast was acceptable but not impressing.

Great hotel with really lovely staff who were always cheerful and helpful. Our room was only a standard one but was spacious and very comfortable. Great pool and the food was really exceptional. A different menu each evening and everything was very fresh and delicious. I really recommend this hotel

A small thing but breakfast did not start until eight and it gets very hot later in the day for hiking. Maybe they could offer a basic cold breakfast from seven. Just bread, ham, cheese etc left in a fridge so the staff don’t have to get there earlier.
