Wow..just wow, we were instantly captivated by the breathtaking panorama of Dream Cliff Mountain Resort. The views across southern Sri Lanka left us in complete awe - the definition of a picture-perfect location! Sr Lanka continues to marvel us and the rooms, food and staff hospitality at this resort were no exception. The entire team went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Sincere thanks to Vipula ‘Vips’ & the rest of the team for making our 20th Wedding Anniversary a truly memorable one. Our stay was nothing short of magical! We would highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a luxurious retreat amidst nature's splendor. We were made to feel like part of one big family. Everything was amazing!

The views really give this property the ‘wow’ factor. It was wonderful being surrounded by nature - we spotted lots of beautiful birds, butterflies and palm squirrels around the hotel grounds. We loved our beehive rooms - the bathroom in particular was really nicely done and there was plenty of hot water. The food was for the most part very good, varied and reasonably priced. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and keen to please. The price point is a little steep but you’re paying for a very unique experience.

My only minor criticism is the food portion sizes - they really are massive! We felt really bad leaving so much food but we simply couldn’t manage it all and we’re a family with hearty appetites! WiFi also rather slow and inconsistent.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed in such a humble and traditional Sri Lankan way. We were shown to the beautiful vantage point overlooking the landscape beyond and we were blown away. Our beehive (Alexandrite) was incredible. It was spacious, clean, contemporary and tastefully decorated. The walk in shower over pebbles is really special. For meals we opted for half board which worked out well as there isn't anywhere near the hotel to eat. Service at breakfast and dinner was exceptional with very tasty food with a wide variety. Overall the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. They organised for a tuk tuk driver to take us to Lipton Seat and also organised a taxi driver to take us to Mirissa when we had checked out. We also needed some laundry doing which was turned around very quickly. To our delight, the hotel put on a NYE party on 31st Dec - something we were not expecting! They really pulled out all the stops with food, drink, disco lights and DJ. We got up early one morning to watch the sunrise, it was so relaxing to sit amongst the beautiful flora and fauna. The hotel is in a remote location, a 15 minute drive from the town of Haputale. We had high expectations but everything was exceptional. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so special.

Everything about this place was magical. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They simply could not do enough to ensure our comfort. Each room is idyllic, cleaned beautifully & served exceptionally well. The location is idyllic. A perfect spot to unwind after landing in Sri Lanka before heading to the busier Arugam Bay. The food is exceptional. Absolutely DE-licious & the strict vegetarian in our party was catered to exceptionally well. It may be more expensive than other accommodation, but it absolutely delivers on its price. I can't wait to return one day with extended family/friends & will be recommending it far & wide. Thanks to everyone there for their hospitality! PS: the location manages to be family friendly AND extremely romantic/private for couples. No mean feat to achieve.

Small hotel with only 12 "beehives" meant it never felt crowded and the staff knew everyone. Pool was very nice and the views were amazing. Service, especially from Rani excellent. Food and drink good value for money

If i had one observation, our stay would have been even better if the Beehives had been slightly further apart but really, that's quibbling. And meal portion sizes were enormous which some would see as a plus!

Everything….from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were made to feel special….special requests around food and drinks were arranged without fuss….the restaurant area was a dream with a dream view to match and the food and service were outstanding. The rooms are also spacious and immaculate and the view from it made you feel you were the only ones staying at the hotel…fantastic !

Nothing…we loved everything and would return in a heartbeat…it’s not cheap but every penny is worth it.

This was the most incredible location with stunning views and also so relaxing. It was a beautiful stay and the staff were so friendly. We told Rafael it was our honeymoon and he organised surprise decorations for us at our room and dinner. Vipula was also very helpful and friendly. We loved loved loved our stay and would highly recommend it. It felt like we were alone in the clouds and the pool is one of the nicest we have swam in. The food was wonderful and well priced and so were the drinks

Everything!! Amazinggg views, lovely rooms with epic bathrooms. Attentive and friendly staff who seem just genuinely delightful. live music in the restaurant in the evening, incredible food - both breakfast and dinner!!! So peaceful and just lovely all round after a hectic couple of weeks travelling round Sri Lanka.

Our room didn't have air con which would definitely have been a bonus however we still loved our stay and would go back without any hesitation and would recommend it to anyone!!

Exceptional attentive and educated staff, I have seldomly experienced a service like this. Even when we wanted to change travel plans the hotel management presented a very fair solution. Thanks a lot! The Sri Lankian breakfast was great!

Rooms are a bit small, but if you only plan to sleep it’s fine. Large bed. There was not enough shadow at the pool. 2 more sun umbrellas would be great.

Amazing place and highly recommend anyone to SL to visit this hotel. Views are stunning, rooms are independent, beautifully designed and provides privacy. Staff is super nice and efficient , they give you personalized services and take care of every need, which you don't find in most of the hotel. Mr. Vipula and the entire went above and beyond in hospitality and big thanks to them for making our trip memorable.
