one of the best and attractive hotels for the price range in wadduwa area. very clean and nicely arranged furnitures using maximum out of the available space. rooms (Triple and double rooms are bit smaller but looks spacious due to attic type arrangement for the bed). all the rooms have sea view due to hotel architectural design. very good and helpful staff who work hard to give their best for the residents. Dinner and breakfast buffets are very tasty and wider varieties to select. swimming pool is large and clean with adequate supporting staff.

beach is just beyond the fence at the back of the hotels. you could see and smell the sea but will not be able to use the beach. there are gates to reach the beach but are always close possibly due to tough sea waves.

With its heavy teak wood furnishings and old timer charm this is a wonderful hotel to stay in Kalutara. We spent 4 nights there and had a great time. the property is lovely with the pool, lush green courtyard and also a natural lagoon!. Watch out for the resident monitor lizard. This is mostly a family oriented hotel for the local tourists. The service and courtesy of the staff was also up to the mark, although the cafe staff is overworked. The only drawback is the beach access is closed off probably due to strong waves and undercurrents in this stretch. Couple of restaurants and shop just outside the hotel within walkable distance. The breakfast is a wide and delicious spread. No complaints there. Rooms are spacious, clean Would recommend this hotel if travelling with family.

Slightly noisy A/C due to the age, but the sea views and sound of crashing waves make up for it.

Starting with front desk staff Ms Nishadi who was very competent and professional, it was a good stay overall. Breakfast and other meals were good, the general environment although a little old was quite pleasant and spacious. Good view of the ocean. Highly recommended.

Tangerine Hotel is a an incredible space and relaxing design which you feel almost immediately relaxed in as soon as you enter the lobby of the hotel. What makes it absolutely special is the genuine hospitality and professionalism of all the staff from Management through to the trainees and waiting staff. They treat you with absolute kindness and respect and particularly with one of our family members having health issues and less mobility access they were very helpful making sure they are attended on and welcome regardless.

This is nothing to do with the hotel itself or something that they could control , but having visited years ago it was sad to see the beach being eroded away, which used to be a beautiful and pristine beach. Fingers crossed some restoration could be undertaken in the near future. Having said that the facilities and hospitality and the view made it almost negligible that you couldn't directly access the beach.

A long waited reunion with my best friends and Tangerine was the perfect choice. Initially we were bit reluctant since we had a group of seven ladies however it was very safe and secure environment for all travelers with staff and the Management team doing their best to ensure everything is looked after. We were spoiled for choices especially with breakfast buffet and other facilities also were right up to our expectations. We would highly recommend Tangerine for who ever wish to have a short break from their busy lives.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! Staff was very courteous and the hotel itself is beautiful, with lots to explore! The breakfast buffet was quite impressive. Spa experience was great, although a tad overpriced.

Not much of a beach to walk along, but decent view from the room, except that there was some construction during my stay which made it a bit noisy. WiFi was very spotty and signal on many of the TV channels were not great.

The location was fantastic. The hotel is situated right by the beach, and the views from my room were breathtaking. I enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of the ocean every morning. The staff at Tangerine Beach Hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They were always willing to assist with any requests and had a warm and welcoming demeanor. Their customer service truly stood out during my stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious. There was a variety of options, from fresh fruit to hot dishes, and everything was well-prepared and flavorful. It was a great way to start the day.

The Wi-Fi signal in my room and around the hotel area was a bit weak, which made it challenging to stay connected at times. It would be great if they could improve the internet speed and coverage. While I booked a triple room expecting one single bed and one double bed as per the description, I found that the room actually had two single beds combined as one and an additional single bed on the side.

Had an excellent 3 nights at the Tangerine the staff very attentive helpful and polite rooms clean and well equipped buffet breakfast and evening meal was excellent dinning room large and accommodating all in all a fabulous stay The pool is large and pool man very attentive with chairs and towels and then you can walk down to the beach for a swim also there is a small play park for children and a childrens pool

the hotel is very nice and comfy. big pool,next to beach. Rooms are spacious and with good bathroom and balcony overseeing the garden,pool and sea. Super friendly and helpful staff!!Prasadi from reception, Ajit the Bar captain and Amita from restaurant were just amazing!! Definitely reccomend this hotel for stay.

We came to Tangerine Beach Hotel to celebrate our 43rd Wedding Anniversary. We informed the hotel of the occasion and requested lobster and baked crab for our special dinner. To our delight not only was our request granted but in addition a delicious seafood bouillabaisse to start and a whole Anniversary cake for dinner. We had no room for the cake that evening and we’re able to take the cake home to share with friends and family The hotel had created a special menu detailing our courses We observed that all guests were treated with kindness and respect. Not just our dinner but all food was delicious, freshly prepared and beautifully presented All areas, private and public, were tended to very well I treated my self to 2 spa treatments and loved them Throughout our stay we were treated to 5 star service. The staff were attentive and kind. The pool was beautiful. Very clean and calm. On arrival at the pool the attendant was there and straight away asked where we would like to rest and made the area ready without any fuss We loved our stay so much we booked an extra night We can highly recommend coming to stay at Tangerine Beach Hotel. Especially if you are looking for a relaxing, high quality treat We are already planning a return trip Thank you to everyone who made our stay so thoroughly enjoyable
