Stayed here for two nights prior to flying home. Quite a luxurious hotel, great spacious room with big en-suite bathroom. Deep comfortable mattresses aided fantastic sleep Food and beer good and fairly priced. Amazing staff, particular mention to the receptionist Hiruni Perera, very welcoming, cheery smile, great English language skills and very helpful

Unfortunately the hotel was just about empty, so lacked a bit of atmosphere The pool was out of service while remedial work was carried out to the restaurant roof WiFi very poor, only good around reception area. Not a problem for me, but I know it’s important to some

staff is working friendly , helpful and professional they are always smiling doing their best to make me feeling good and enjoying my stay

Lot's of mosquitoes but room itself is clean , but could not enjoy my room balcony view because of that Also there was kind of party and sound was sooo loud till 1 am was not able to sleep

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Amora Lagoon hotel and I must say that it was a great experience. The hotel is small and cozy, but it is well-maintained and the staff is extremely polite and attentive to your needs. One of the best things about the hotel is the affordable price. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the quality of service provided by the staff is top-notch. They were always ready to assist and made us feel very welcome. The only small issue we faced was that upon arrival at our room, it was quite hot and uncomfortable. It would have been nice if the staff had cooled the room before my arrival. However, this was just a minor inconvenience and didn't take away from the overall positive experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The meals were consistently good, and I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients. Furthermore, the hotel's proximity to the airport was a huge plus. It was just a short drive to the airport, which made my departure stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend the Amora Lagoon hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay in Katunayake, Sri Lanka. The minor issue i faced was outweighed by the warm hospitality of the staff, the delicious food, and the convenience of the location

We just needed something to stay one night because our flight was early in the morning; and its really close to the airport; it exceeded our expectations and its really good value for the money; friendly stuff and clean facilities; so even if you want to stay longer here; you will not regret it

Very helpful staff! We had issues with the WiFi in the room and Mr. Subodha kindly arranged for a new router. The reception was also very helpful in printing out our documents for travel. They also arranged for airport pick up and drop off (for 25 dollars in total), it is close to the airport, good location for transit or an early flight.The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was elaborate and tasty.

There was an event with loud music until 10:45pm and it may be good to enquire about any ongoing festivities if the purpose of your stay is a quick airport stopover with an early morning flight.

specially I love their service and always they eager to help us..specially I have to mention Mr.Rukshan Daniel who was as receptionist for 2days until we checkout..he helped us to manage every single thing and made it easier..also he allow us for late checkout as well…I really love his service and he always pleasant and I would rate his service 10/10.not only every single person who work there was amazing..thank you guyz.. cheers🍻

Beautifull setting ,nice view ,lovely pool and big spacious rooms. Restaurant on site and food good Friendly ,helpfull staff and understanding. Hope be back if situation in Sri Lanka gets better.👍

Shuttel facilities littel bit over streched in pricings ,due to the petrol situatiion in Sri Lanka.Welknown the issues in the country and basically non available petrol in general . Those issues ofcourse reflects the overall pricings i believe in some way

Needed a hotel near the airport as we were landing early hours of the morning. A pre-arranged shuttle bus was waiting for us as we emerged through customs which was a welcoming sight. The rooms were adequate and very clean with the air conditioning on as you walked in from a humid night. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, in particular Rulistan and Hiruni who were friendly and made us feel at home.

Just what we needed

We had a long layover - and stayed here for a transit 18 hrs. The hotel is great and the staff were able to check us in at 7 am and ensure that we have a good rest before our next flight. Staff were attentive and the quality of room was amazing.
