Lovely staff, cute little place backing onto rice paddies with peacocks, plenty of safe space for a toddler to run around.

Muggy room, inefficient layout, monkeys bombarding roofs with mangoes was not conducive to sleeping well.

A calm and tranquil escape. All the staff are welcoming and helpful. What is exceptional is the owner is present, very much hands on (even helped when a tuk tuk broke down to help push it), he is well respected by his 18 staff. This inclusive aura exudes throughout. We extended our stay an extra day as we felt so welcomed and comfortable. Top tip if possible get a room by the pool or garden. When we moved for the last night the room near reception wasn’t as pretty but perfectly clean and comfortable. Would love to visit again.

We changed some of our plans a week before travelling to Sri Lanka which meant cancelling a previous hotel and booking this one last minute instead so honestly we weren't expecting much. However it turned out to be a WONDERFUL surprise. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, a tranquil little oasis surrounded with greenery which is extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the pool area is lovely. The location is a short 5 minute walk into the village where you'll find lots of restaurants but honestly the food at the hotel is wonderful!! WiFi is also excellent and works in all the rooms. However the real highlight was the staff, who were SO friendly and accommodating. Whenever we needed a ride somewhere (to a nearby restaurant, the rock etc.) they took us immediately in one of the hotel TukTuks and even gave us their number so we could message them when we needed picking up. One day we had a change of plans due to weather and halfway through the day asked if they could arrange a driver to visit Polonnaruwa which is an approx 70 min drive away. Within 10 minutes they sorted a TukTuk that took us with no problem. Our driver was so lovely and even stopped to point out wild elephants along the way!! I really cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Wa traveled as family of 4 (children 6y and 4y). Hotel is a true paradise in centre of ''jungle area''. It looks better than on pictures, pool is clean and you can safelly swim. Breakfast was better than in any other hotel in sri lanka (we changed 6of them). Also hotel restaurant is great and with very good prices. One BIG PLUS is that you can pay with card, and that was not possible in other hotels that we stayed. From there you can organize everything, from sigirya vistingm tuk tuk sightseeing, safari....

To have everything included in your hotel, try to have ayurvedic treatment options

This is the one place during my entire 3-week Sri Lankan vacation that I truly regretted having to leave. Instead of the planned 1 day, I ended up staying here for 3 nights. My birthday happened to fall during this time, and they were so kind to celebrate it for me along with the entire staff. Surrounded by such wonderful people, I didn’t feel alone at all. The food was delicious, the room was impeccably clean and well-equipped, and the staff’s helpfulness deserves special recognition. The place itself is stunning, with a well-maintained environment, a pool, and a small treehouse at the edge of the garden overlooking the rice fields. Absolutely beautiful. This has become my all-time favorite place. If I ever return to Sri Lanka in the future, I will definitely choose them again. Thank you so much once again for the amazing experience and for making my birthday so special.

The location is nice . It's amidst lots of greenery. Birds and peacocks were heard at close distance.. Beautiful ambiance. They serve decent food at fair prices. The staff was helping . The pool looked nice.

They don't have intercoms to connect to the reception and other rooms. WiFi quality is poor. We faced some issues with hor water in bathroom. Mosquitos were observed which could be because of weather and surrounding vegetation. When you sit in balcony or outside, the Mosquitos may trouble. If they provide repellent in room, It would be helpful.

What a fantastic place to stay, the rooms were spotlessly clean, perfectly decorated & the bed was so comfy ! The gardens & pool were really well maintained & the villa is in a great location for a trip to Sigiriya. Ate at the restaurant both nights & the food was delish ! All of the staff were amazing, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, happy to help with my trip to Sigiriya & around the Villa & organising my onward journey to Udalwalawa. Their driver was so good, it was such a beautiful 6 hour drive, stopping on route & taking some time to spend in Ella. If you heading to the Sigiriya area, please stay here, you wont be disappointed

Nice property with a lovely pool area and garden. We loved our room and small outdoor area. It was walkable to get to Sigiriya Fortress but a bit far in the heat of the day. There were quite a few restaurant options not too far away if you prefer to not eat at the hotel every day.

We had problems with the wifi not working and I had little to no data reception with my mobile network. We could also hear the bass from nearby music when trying to go to sleep both nights, but we think it was at a neighbouring property. Also the construction noise from the hotel works made the pool less peaceful.

Loved my stay here. Spotless pool, very helpful staff, bar fridge & kettle in the room. Laundry service is very good value for money if you have a lot to wash. Breakfasts were huge and varied. Location is a short walk to restaurants and amenities. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but there were tempting aromas wafting from the kitchen.

They rent out scooters or motorbikes, but unfortunately not bicycles. Strange to have a kettle in the room but no mugs or teaspoons. But these are minor things.

The hotel was close to the Sigiriya Lion Rock. So we can go there and climb up with our 5yo son. So it was great. The whole hotel looked very well maintained. Definitely one of the best options in the area. And great value for money. The staff were helpful with anything needed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The breakfast was very rich.

I would prefer more fruits (there was three or for kinds on breakfast but portion for one, max. two people).
