Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city center with amazing areas and paintings and amazing staircases. It was a wonderful experience! The staff were nice and friendly, the breakfast buffet was out of this world! An absolute gem and incredibly high quality for the price!! Highly recommend! We had an amazing time!

The only thing is the parking, you can only park on the street, although it was not hard to find a parking spot and the prices are very reasonable, so also not a problem!

Great location, old world charm, spacious rooms, when compared with some modern hotels. Wonderful breakfast.

Poor lighting in the room. Some lightbulbs missing in appliances. And there is no overhead light. In the wintertime, the rooms are very very dark. At least add a floor lamp. No AC for summertime and the heaters are very slow to warm up.

Very good value for money. We had an offer of a doubble room for 65 euro and didnt expect much , but we very happily surprised. A basic room with nothing extra but it was big, clean and neet and with a comfortable bed. The room was quiet and we slept well. We enjoyed the breakfast buffé with lots of variety and it was a really nice room were breakfast was served.

Since it was a room on the top floor / attic the window were facing another roof and no wiew at all except the sky, it was small and placed high up on the wall. But it didnt botter us due to the price we paid. Maybe it would be a bit cosier with some pictures on the wall or a carpet or something. But nothing accutally to complain about.

The Hotel Statt is a typical old style hotel. If you look around inside you will see that it is in a famous old building. We got a nice room looking out over the nearby church and square. The breakfast was great, as usual we found everything we wanted. Finally we got some great restaurant proposals from the person in the reception

The area might be a little noisy. And, but this has nothing to do with the hotel, but watch out for the parking signs and rules around the hotel. You will not like to get fined...

There was an error on Booking and we booked a non-existent room. The staff solved the problem, so we were put in another room, better. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The view from the window was to the courtyard, but captured the roofs of neighboring houses, which is very beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is clean and spacious. The furniture in the room is comfortable, there was a TV, but we did not use it. Liked the breakfast. It was a delicious buffet in a huge beautiful baroque hall.

Furniture is not new but in good condition. There are no more complaints.

Beautiful historical building in the middle of old town, big and comfortable room, nice and friendly staff, great buffet breakfasts with lot of options.

As building is quite old, be careful of potential faults eg not closing windows - but when reported to staff in the reception, should be handled smoothly.

Not a big thing but some music in the breakfast room would bring some atmosphere, even Christmas music this time of the year

One of the most friendly and helpful reception attendee I've ever met. I wish her the best and would kindly thank for great hospitality and smile that makes the sun shining in more happy manner :) I read opinions hotel is not necessarilly modern and that's a fact. But this is something you can fall in love in - the old wooden, squeaky floor, old elevator or beautiful balcony... It's all about atmosphere of bygon times of Gustav Adolf :)

Breakfast was amazing.. Staff were really helpful. Location is great.

Rooms are a bit small. If you fancy having very big rooms, you should consider that.

Room looked lovely and was very spacious. Very luxurious. Hotel in general looked very nice. Well located in Karlskrona.

Not having an elevator for suitcases.
