Good-sized rooms and pretty comfortable beds. Shower had great pressure. Gym was pretty decent and so was the sauna/jacuzzi area. Breakfast was quite good: fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurt, chia pudding, and tasty juices. Location was really convenient to the bus and train stations, which was why we chose it. It's also on the main thoroughfare of Luleå.

Hotel messed up our reservation -- told us we didn't have a room booked even though we had proof of a confirmed reservation. They were able to find a room for us but they should've just gotten the reservation right in the first place. Would love more hot food options for vegetarians besides the one scrambled egg dish. Even some roasted potatoes or something would've gone a long way. Hot tub was lukewarm and no matter what we did, we couldn't actually get the jets to work, so it might need some maintenance.

Breakfast was good, not very advanced but filled my needs to what I expect of a hotel breakfast meal. Waiters were very friendly and tried all they could to assist even on small things like a deeper plate for my son every morning. The Spa in the basement was frequently used by us, two nice jaccuzies and a sauna. One of the showers did not function (the nicest one). The Spa was important for my booking personally, because I knew we would be using it often. So if you like some time to relax in such a lounge, this is the place for you. I think there should have been some kind of serving down there to maximize comfort of all guests, Im sure it would be well made money for the hotel, I know we would have bougt tons of cola and other beverages if possible. There was a water canister in the hallway thou, sadly it was almost empty every evening. We strongly reccomend the hamburger at EGO-bar, this was one of our food highlights this week at our stay. A very kind chef from Greece made it atleast two days, if you like a GOOD hamburger that tastes juicy and fresh and with bunch of home made stuff, be sure to try one! Some of the ladies working at the reception was very young, and did not seem to know alot about the city. We asked for the best place to visit a pool, but the place we got recommended was closed when we arrived after paying our parking. Parking at the hotel was very comfortable, you get to safely park your car every day at a reasonable price.

Should have windows at those pretty rooms that are able to open, or better..a functioning aircondition system. Rooms was very warm. There was a fan to aid us thou, a cheap but OK emergency sollution.

Everything from the reception staff (Theresia and Elias were amazing! thank you both for everything!), the facilities, the food at the restaurant, the room, all exceeded my expectations. Staff was very friendly, professional and always happy to help. The food at the EGO restaurant had lots of variety and quite tasty. The room was clean, comfortable and I mean it when I say it was very spacious (see attached picture). Bathroom was huge and had a bath tub which is a luxury in itself already nowadays. Location is excellent! The hotel is very central, right on a long shopping street packed with shops, restaurants, shopping malls, atms, pharmacies, etc. It is also very close to the train station (should you want to visit the surroundings - the landscapes are just spectacular).

The carpet on the 5th floor especially near the lifts would need some attention as it looks rather worn out.

In terms of the stay, there’s nothing to complain but while making a reservation, I received a scam email from the hotel. (When I contacted the hotel, they instructed me not to open the scam email link.) so I felt bit insecure about staying and making a reservation.

The temperature in our room was uncomfortably warm at night. We were unable to set the air con to a low enough temperature. When we queried this, We were provided with a fan, which did little to cool us down. The lighting was poor in the bedroom.

This hotel is located in a great central location. With a Coop and Lidl close by. Also close to the shopping district where there are so many stores and mini malls. Choice for breakfast is great, staff are very nice. All speak great English. Although hotel is in central location, my room was so quiet. Even as it was over looking the highstreet. Massive spacious bathroom, bigger than my bedroom at home !!

One day the room was cleaned, but not my bathroom. Towels I left on the floor to be collected were still there when I returned later in the afternoon. Perhaps an oversight?

Location is perfect , ambience is excellent , Breakfast included was epic. We were there for the night as we had to take a flight . The man at the reception was kindly and lovely. seeing that we had come with little baby he gave us the nice room which can accommodate all 3 of us on comfy bed . Good man and good team overall

I don’t know how it is for parking , seeing that I guess there is no free parking. Not sure exactly . Better to ask

- Great central location - Good breakfast - The Ego at Savoy restaurant downstairs was really impressive - Good amenities such as a large tv, mini fridge, safe, iron, ironing table, hairdryers, shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, water heater, etc.

- The carpet in the hallways had paint and dirt stains on them, which was a little disappointing - The attached toilet in our standard double room had a constant weird stench - Although well promoted, Netflix did not work on the TV, and couldn’t be solved after complaining to the reception - The hotel telephone did not work either, so every time we needed something we had to go down to the reception

Easy location to drive in with a nice parking facility. Very friendly staff and happy to help. The first the bastu was off when we used spa but next morning the receptionist said they will check it out. She also looked for us information regarding of the attraction that we wanted to check out.

Carpet looked dirty on the corridors and worn out in the room. Bathroom door was very difficult to open or close fully, like door was too tight.

Great hotel in general, nice rooms and amazing location.

I booked this hotel specifically because they had a sauna, only to find out that you need a swimsuit to enter it. This is a weird policy I might maybe expect somewhere in central Europe but have never seen in these latitudes and thus was not prepared for. This completely ruined my stay, but I did not let this influence the review too much since it's probably not a big deal for most visitors.
