A well-managed establishment, with dedicated staff and a keen sense of business, set in a place steeped in history. For €100, including two meals and a night’s stay, the value is truly remarkable. They have clearly mastered yield management, commercial strategy, and the art of delivering exceptional value to their guests—bravo! The room is spacious enough for a short stay, the bed and bedding are exceptionally comfortable, and it offers everything one could expect from an establishment of this standing. It’s unpretentious yet full of life! The evening meal is simple but generous, while the breakfast is hearty and diverse, rivalling higher-category establishments. The warmth and professionalism of the staff are undeniable. Coupled with a mythical building, this is an experience that exceeds expectations.

On the downside, the shower being inside the bathtub is not very convenient or enjoyable.

I think the breakfast was not great for vegans. It was too carb heavy and could have benefitted from the inclusion of more fruits as well as for example, vegan meat alternatives. coffee was not great - very burnt tasting. Location of coffee bar could be improved as there was a lot of "traffic" for coffee that also interfered with people getting their food.

Vegan and vegetarian options at breakfast, fika, and dinner. Not difficult to have good tasting and well balanced options, it would be great to see more effort in this regard.

From first to last impressions, I enjoyed almost everything about my stay. The historic building—it was originally a bank—has been sympathetically converted into a lovely hotel. The rooms have high ceilings, windows that open, well-sized bathrooms, comfortable beds, a desk and chair, and a lounge chair. Decor in the common areas is really lovely. The hotel has a great vibe. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rate, as is afternoon fika and all-day tea and coffee. The bar staff are efficient and lovely, making sure everyone is looked after. The location is fantastic. 10 minutes walk from the train station and you can see Örebro Castle from the front steps of the hotel, which fronts the Svartån (river). Close to bars, restaurants, theatre and 20 minutes walk from the open air museum, Wadköping. Highly recommended.

Rooms are not serviced. This is apparently the norm for Clarion hotels. The room rate does not include shampoo and conditioner, which can be purchased from reception, or you can “upgrade” to a superior room. My room smelt a little dank when I first went in. Opening the windows helped but, as I was in the ground floor, I couldn’t leave them open at night or when I was out. There is no bedside table.

The turret room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for pedestrian arrivals from the train / bus station and only a short walk to historic buildings the main shopping area and a number of good restaurants

With temperatures around -20C and a lot of snow more attention needs to be given to clearing the steps from the pavement up to the lobby area.

Fantastic hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are modern and elegantly decorated, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. The food was excellent on all accounts, no complaints from a family of four with different preferences for food. Location - doesn't get better than this, can walk easily within the town, plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and green areas.

The breakfast is very good - all the basic food we like is there. Can't complain about the free dinner as well - traditional meatballs with all the add-ons. Plus fantastic location in the city centre.

This one's not on anyone's control. The rooms did not have windows but that's a small matter compared to all the pluses we enjoyed.

Very comfortable beds+pillows, great building, very tasty breakfast and dinner with plenty of choice for food/snack, great coffee. Personnel who works at hotel are very polite and friendly! P.s. they also welcomed well our dog Sally with pink bowl and snacks :)

Stunning hotel near the Slottet. Very comfortable and peaceful. Great pillows, the doona was not hot (unlike many other hotels). The breakfast was delicious. Best for us - no AC so we had a comfortable quiet nights sleep. We actually slept in until 9am! Dinner was a bonus, a simple but tasty meal.

Beautiful historical property in the center of town right next to the castle and very close to public transport. Breakfast, fika and dinner, all included in my rate - were very good! I very much enjoyed my cosy room and the public spaces.

It would have been nice to have coffee/tea service in the room but it was available in the lobby.

Excellent location, friendly and relaxed staff and good breakfast. The hotel is located in central Örebro which is very convenient when you want to see the city or take a bus somewhere outside. The rooms are nice and clean and are as expected. We had dinner included which is comfortable as we spent the whole day in Gustavsvik waterpark.
