The staff was excellent. They spoke English and were very welcoming, very helpful and very professional. Top stars!! Breakfast was amazing! Plentiful and diverse. Far exceeding our expectations. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and warm (we visited in December when teperatures oitside reached -20°C) The location was very central, right in the heart of the main shopping street of Östersund. Bedding and towels were very clean.

The main thing we didn't like was the shower. The water pressure and temperature were good, but It had a very old and poor enclosure. Just a curtain and a basic plastic plinth that leaked badly, making it necessary to wipe the floor dry after every shower. I think an update to the bathroom is necessary.

The breakfast was great (including freshly baked pancakes) - it had a lot of variety in a lovely atmosphere. The bedroom was really warm and comfortable when we arrived and had all the things one could need, as hairdryer. The check in was super easy despite our arrival after the reception opening hours. The hotel is very well located in one of the main streets of Ostersund. Downstairs you have a nice local pub where you can have a snack or a drink after arriving. I really recommend Hotel Emma and would stay there again.

The room was large with an additional sofa. The WiFi was very reliable. And I am always very lucky to have a water kettle and a sortiment of tea/coffea in my hotel room (even if I did not use it this time). We enjoyed the breakfast even if we only had a 30 minute slot which was quite short since the two waffles already needed 10 minutes to get finished. Anyway there was a verg good choice of breakfast items. And the self baked cake at the evening was great. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian area which makes it close to the shops.

The location of the hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian area which makes it far away from parking possibilities for the car. We had a parking lot 500 m away from the hotel so that we needed to move our suitcases the long way to the hotel.

Amazing breakfast - homemade jams, interesting sausages and breads, waffle iron, all sorts of seeds and granola for yoghurt, hard and soft boiled eggs, cakes... And coffee and cakes are available throughout the day for no extra charge. Really friendly staff - when the breakfast room was full, they opened up their conference room for us to make extra space.

Great location in the middle of town, close to restaurant, shopping and transport. Cosy rooms with an older feeling. Clean and spacious. Great staff that were very welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic! Lots of options and almost everything was locally made or organic, perfect options for a vegetarian as well.

Everything! Clean, perfect location, spacious room for 2 people, helpful staff, rich breakfast buffet , coffee, tea, Glögg and fruits for free all day long, comfy beds, tea and coffee in the room.

we loved everything! Room was a generous size, beds comfortable, the staff warm and friendly and cake and coffee on arrival. The best part was breakfast 😋 So much choice and all delicious.

bathroom smelt a little musty but it was very clean.

Arrived very late so we had text instructions on how to access the building and our room: all worked OK. We had to leave before breakfast was served (to catch an early train) but a decent selection of food was left in the fridge in our room.

The hotel is located in the center, on the pedestrian zone, surrounded by restaurants and bars as well as a park.  Large room, large bathroom, in-room seating area, means of making hot drinks.  The staff is welcoming and smiling.  Wonderful breakfast.  In gratitude.
