I arrived very early (7am) but Maria gave me a door code to enter so I could drop off my bags and then texted me as soon as my room was ready (around midday, well before the official check-in time). Hotel is more of a Bed & Breakfast but it's in a beautful house, with lovely furniture right in the centre of Ostersund on a quiet pedestrianized street. It's only 10 minutes walk from the railway station.

If I'm being picky the bathroom feels a little dated, but the whole place is really rather beautifully maintained.

Very comfy and relaxing, like visiting a good friend with excellent hospitality not met with any more (like going back to Sweden in the 60's). Good choice of breakfast options, but after a couple of days I would have preferred some hot dishes and perhaps some more local cheeses and bread. Before my visit, I received a very welcoming text message with all information needed. Nice area and close to shopping, cinema and lots of restaurants in the gågata (street with no traffic). Opportunity to eat at Republiken which is a very inspiring local restaurant.

The bedroom and bathroom not as cozy as the main areas.

Lovely, period rooms with antique furniture and chandeliers. Like staying in an Agatha Christie novel, if Agatha Christie was Swedish - but nobody got murdered! Breakfast room was lit by candies on every surface. Jessica was happy to cook me scrambled eggs for breakfast when I asked for them. The owners are a charming couple, and nothing is too much trouble.

The breakfast room was lovely and the bread and food were good quality.

Breakfast food eg sliced eggs, pate, tomatoes, was not refilled quickly enough. The breakfast layout was cramped. If there were a few people, we were trying to be in the same area. Milk triangles were not available one evening.

This is a charming and unique place. Great location downtown on the walking street. Tasty breakfast spread. And the historic feel of the place was a welcome break from the typical hotel room. This place was a pleasure to stay in.

Staff lovely and very welcoming. Allowed us to checkin early. Breakfast nice but a little limited.

Front entrance not nice. Dirty and graffiti. Hotel area is only the first and second floors like a gated section.

Representing its era, purpose designed, well managed and full of owners heart in it. The B&B hard to find these days. We have enjoyed our night spent there during our skiing trip. I guess we would feel like at auntie’s place if had spent couple days more. The place is very central, easy to find and to park. And the owners are professionals with the big heart. Thank You!

Location was excellent.

The room was towards the street and there were a lot of people outside having fun so it was quite noicy out there.

Very special interior design, everything carefully arranged with love; rich breakfast; the fact that this is an unmanned place in the evening did not do any harm to the overall very positive impression! Would go there again!

Old style bed and breakfast in the very center of Sundsvall. It is like walking into a museum. Relaxing, makes you slow down.

The shower needs some rework, but the new owners seem to know that.
