Hotel was very clean and had a cozy vibe. I did not interact with staff upon arrival but did in the morning at breakfast and staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable and for being downtown it was actually very quiet.

It was my fault I did not realize there is very limited parking. We parked in a parking garage down the way and had to wheel luggage through downtown. Inconvenient but if I had done better research I would have seen this information. Toilet also made a lot of noise throughout the night.

Beautiful antique furnishings in spacious and clean rooms, located on the nicest street in Östersund. Welcoming and attentive host who quickly answered our every question and made sure everything was to our liking. All day free fika in the parlour was a nice treat! A special thank you to the nice lady who prepared extra early breakfast for us to enjoy before our departure on Inlandsbanan.

I arrived very early (7am) but Maria gave me a door code to enter so I could drop off my bags and then texted me as soon as my room was ready (around midday, well before the official check-in time). Hotel is more of a Bed & Breakfast but it's in a beautful house, with lovely furniture right in the centre of Ostersund on a quiet pedestrianized street. It's only 10 minutes walk from the railway station.

If I'm being picky the bathroom feels a little dated, but the whole place is really rather beautifully maintained.

An exceptional boutique hotel with an interesting history. It is evident that the current owners cherish the place, with unique attention to detail, exquisite taste and care for their guests. It's perfectly located at the center of the town, feels like home, and provides a unique accommodation experience.

I regret spending only one night there... I'll probably try to come back and visit it in the future.

The overall styling is wonderful. Clear instructions on how to check in. Extremely clean. Good breakfast with home made bread. We asked for gluten-free at the last minute and staff was ready to provide a valid alternative.

Just a silly detail, during my first stay two years ago, I fell in love with some coffe cups which had been substituted this time.

An exquisite hotel decorated with loved antiques, felt like stepping into a story book. Just beautiful. And the staff so friendly. Excellent breakfast incl home made breads and preserves.

the bathroom, although spotless, could do with a bit of an upgrade. Oh, and a mirror near a plug point so one can use the hairdryer and see oneself at the same time! But those were really minor details.

Very pleasant hotel at the heart of Östersund. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. The breakfast room can also be used at other times to make coffee and tea, with biscuits and sweets. Soft drinks were complimentary. The staff is very friendly and cooperative, thanks!

Good central location. Decor and style were beautiful. The accommodation was very clean. The little touches, such as coffee and tea in the lounge/ breakfast room.

Badged as a hotel, but real feels like apartments. No receptionist on arrival. This is not a criticism, just an observation.

Very comfy and relaxing, like visiting a good friend with excellent hospitality not met with any more (like going back to Sweden in the 60's). Good choice of breakfast options, but after a couple of days I would have preferred some hot dishes and perhaps some more local cheeses and bread. Before my visit, I received a very welcoming text message with all information needed. Nice area and close to shopping, cinema and lots of restaurants in the gågata (street with no traffic). Opportunity to eat at Republiken which is a very inspiring local restaurant.

The breakfast room was lovely and the bread and food were good quality.

Breakfast food eg sliced eggs, pate, tomatoes, was not refilled quickly enough. The breakfast layout was cramped. If there were a few people, we were trying to be in the same area. Milk triangles were not available one evening.
