The Staff upon our early arrival. CARIN, you are worth your weight in gold.... exceptional customer service, nothing was too much trouble, and couldnt do enough for us. Thank you Carin so much. I didnt really have the opportunity to see other staff, owing to the odd times of my stay, but im sure the whole team Is just as welcoming and proficient! Hotel beautiful..... location .. just stunning! Facilities incredible... hot tub overlooking the lake was fabulous. The breakfast deserves its own mention... sooooo much variety, all top quality food, cooked perfectly, my compliments to the kitchen staff, and the cleaning staff.. the place was spotless! Room sizeable and very comfortable. I wish i could live in this place! Such a positive experience thanks to Carin and the whole team! Well done guys... I stay in 17 -23 hotels all across europe and the eastern block each month,and this is my favourite of all! I will Definitely be back!!!

I have only one problem.... and its not really a problem, as I'm sure most people dont arrive on foot, as we had to... due to the early time of our arrival. Its up a very long steep hill, and i have a physical disability.. it nearly killed me... but that all melted away when we eventually got to the top, and sat outside the hotel, waiting for reception to open ( we got there about 6am) because of the tranquility of the place, and the breathtaking views. Rattvik is a beautiful place, and this hotel is runby beautiful people!

The hotel overall was clean and cozy. Breakfast is really good and with rich sortiment (the scrambled eggs were especially delicious :-) ). The Easter lunch was really great with plenty of dishes one could choose from. The spa zone with jacuzzi and sauna is renowated since the last time we have been there and now it is new, clean and nice. The bed with its pillows was especially comfy. There is a TV in the room with several channels. But interestingly, we did not found a telephone (though we did not need it). The bathroom and shower were good, with plenty of different bottles for bathroom (shampoo, soap and others) :-) There are two free parking areas near the hotel. There is also not bad gym here. The reception lady was really nice and helpful. Due to her care we had fresh drinking water, candle lights and relaxing music in the spa area. Stayed at Easter (April) 2023

It was a little bit dusty in the room, especially under the bed. The drainage in the shower near the sauna was partially blocked.

Lovely view over Siljan Lake. Lots of public spaces in the hotel to sit and chat. Good breakfast buffet (although the gluten-free (only choice) waffles were hard like crackers!)

location is perfect. we had lake view, which was fantastic. enough parking space. clean. breakfast was great: we really likes that there was a lot to choose from and that we could eat breakfast until 10:30. friendly staff: very welcoming in the restaurant (each said hi when i passed by!)

we though that the hotel and hotel room looked a bit plain & basic and not luxurious when it comes to furniture and atmosphere. i think with a bit more thought to it, it could make a really big difference! it already starts upon checking in: we came by car and it is more practical to enter the hotel not from the main entrance, but side entrance: you just walk in small hallway, to a plain lobby(…well, more like a broad hallway) and a plain (maybe even outdated) reception desk. however, we haven’t seen much more of the hotel, so maybe other parts are more modern & look fancy.

We were very late due to train delay and they picked us up at the train station late at night. This was really great service and we appreciated a lot. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The pre-concert dinner (which was phantastic) and the bus transfer to and from the concert was perfectly organized.

Unfortunately our stay was way too short (we were just there for visiting a concert at Dalhalla). We will definitely come back to Lerdalshoejden soon.

The staff was super nice, the room and bed clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast buffet and the bonus: sauna and jacuzzi! All in all a perfect (unfortunately very short) stay!

Great breakfast. On-site restaurant very good. Great view over Rattvik, and very comfortable common areas to sit in. Very nice and comfortable hotel. I would definitely stay again.

The view over lake Siljan is marvelous when you have a room at the front side or when you are in the breakfast room. They have a nice terrace which overlooks the lake. Plenty of choice at the breakfast. Ample free parking space.

The room rate is somewhat too high for the offered quality. The blankets are very thin.

Nice location with great view from the room. Awesome to have the jacuzzi and sauna for ourselves. Very good breakfast, also nice view from the canteen. Can recommend the hotel

Everything and especially the kindness of the staff who helped us a lot when we had problems with our car which was stuck on the icy roads.
