The location was beautiful. When we arrived, the staff was very kind, and helpful, and even upgraded us for free as they had a bigger room available. The room was very clean and well kept. The property was well-kept and very scenic. There were bikes to rent as well. The breakfast was simple, and the other meal time options looked wonderful.

A mini fridge in the room would have been great, as we had been traveling for a little while and had some snacks we would have liked to have kept. It is a 600-year-old property, however, so it may not be permitting for this. Other than that, not much feedback. It was very wonderful.

The location is great - its in the middle of nature. The history of the place is equally interesting with so much that has happened since the place was originally founded. We were aiming at just a pit stop in route for Skara Summerland but we found tranquility, comfort and some excellent food and wine at the hotel restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Not many to mention really. I guess a bit more attention to bathroom and the toiletries would have been nice. Perhaps a bit more food selection when it comes to breakfast, and may be to include pastries.

I do not have much to say about the room as we got there late and left early except it had some nice antiques and the WIFI worked . The food, however was outstanding. Our dinner of salmon (mine) and "duet fish" (my husband's) were delicious and both had beautiful presentation which made the meal even more special. The staff and service were also excellent. Breakfast was also good and we left the Hotell knowing we would highly recommend it to friends and foamily.

I liked the location in the middle of the blissful countryside. The peaceful accommodation, in the former bishop's residence, though quite basic, was very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The building itself was of historical interest and worth staying in. The staff were also very helpful, and the fact we could also eat an evening meal in the restaurant at reasonable prices was a bonus. It was good value for money.

I've been many times in that beautiful place. Totally amazing and comfortable hotel. Different, not modern. With a magic. The most amazing stuff, every person is so nice and helpful. The food in restaurant is so delicious and i can taste every time when I'm there.

We visited the place during Easter holidays, enjoyed the countryside environment, the convenient location close to Skara and Hornborgasjön where we could watch the birds cranes and spoiled by their delicious food, also liked the historical buildings. we were more than satisfied ;)

Personally I have expected more happenings in their greenhouses. For sure the season comes soon ;)

The hotel is located in a beautiful place 6min from the city center. It is quiet place to enjoy both the city and nature horizons! The service is wow! The staff is dynamic and can respond to any of the challenges you may face in a professional manner you could imagine! It was my second stay!

breakfast was quite ok , would be more better if there was scrambled eggs, bacon pancake for the kids. the waffle irons were quite tough that you had to wait your turn But the location was beautiful.

Cosy atmosphere in a historical homestead. You feel to go back in time and sleep in a museum. Excellent breakfast. Quiet countryside.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

The staff was very friendly, they offered several options for breakfast and helped in any way. Furthermore, there are many nice places nearby you can visit.
