We had a lovely stay here in a beautiful, historical and comfortable suite with a very luxurious bathtub. Great location. Amazing breakfast. Our third time staying here and we would love to return again in the future.
For such a romantic suite, the bed could be a bit more comfortable for couples. So unromantic with two separate mattresses and duvets - but this is unfortunately very common at Swedish hotels.

The location could hardly be more picturesque and it was wonderful to spend some time in such a beautiful and welcoming place. The quality of the meals in the hotel was exceptional! We'll certainly miss the liquorice-infused bread, but all the food was excellent. The Spa is also well worth a visit.

Beautiful location and setting. Lots of character and history. Excellent breakfast in the hotel's very nice annex restaurant.
Room was a bit worn for the money we paid. Bathroom shower leaked all over the floor. A little confusing finding the room/parking as the hotel consists of many separate buildings and annexes.

It was a good experience to stay in the old houses. The breakfastroom was interesting. And the breakfast was great.
The room was small compared to the price. We did pay a little extra for the historical experience!

Lovely Elite beds. But why are the bedding mattresses 10 cm slimmer than the matress ? Warning for old people they might have some difficulties to get on the bed as it is quite high. And why are the breakfastrooms so dark? It's not cosy in the morning. Evening I can understand having a special athmospher. and why the tv so high up? Remove the painting and you have space for the tv on the wall in room 19. And at last, nice shampoo and free stuff but nowhere to put it in the shower

Breakfast was fine. The hotel rooms, however, are distributed all over the town. The room was fine too, but the personell should do more to help the residents find their room with greater ease!

The location is great, right next to the church and museum. Has the vibe of the old monastery and historic feeling. We loved the staying and the facilities. Also great breakfast and plenty of space in a historic environment.
We had to preorder and pay food and drinks in advance, at place, before being seated in a 1700 century room. Food was ok, but maybe I would have got a better service feeling in the restaurant.

Walking up stairs with luggage - but, I was told ahead of time that was the situation.
