The breakfast was great, a wide selection of foods, including some healthy options. The hotel is right next to the train station. The room itself was super clean and neatly decorated. It had all amenities we needed. The staff was very friendly. We came here for a Bike 'n' Wine tour, and the hotel is perfectly located for that (very close to the start and end spot).

The pillow was a bit uncomfortable (it indents too much). The hotel is in a bit more industrial part, so there is not really a small-town vibe there. The following is obviously not the hotels fault, but the nights were very noisy, as the train station is currently (as of 09.10.23) under construction throughout the nights, which causes quite a bit of noise and there are many scooters going around in the nights with loud motors. This also seems to be a mosquito heavy area, so bring some protection.

We loved our stay there ! Comfy, relaxed and calm place. The train station is just 3 minutes' walk, it is a perfect location if you wants to visit Como. The hosts are very friendly, and everything is just excellent. Especially thanks for the lady who serving our breakfast during our first 2 days, she is very polite and helpful !

Lovely rooms, very vibrant restaurants during dinner time. We really would have liked to have dinner there, but we were too tired... Excellent breakfast and nice garden. Parking outside. Close to the train station.

There is not elevator: if you plan to stay just for one night on a stopover traveling somewhere, better have a small bag for the night and leave large luggage in the car.

It's a nice and cozy place, well located just across the train station in Balerna. Staff is friendly and helpful, they gave me some good tips about the region and public transportation to place where I was going.

There wasn't a suitable place to store luggage, since the hotel was closed for a large part of the next day.

A lovely hotel and restaurant, for my son and I to stay at whilst heading back to the UK from southern Italy. The staff were great and the room was spacious and comfortable too. The restaurant was an added bonus, as this was very good.

It was a bit of a struggle to find somewhere to park but otherwise all good.

The reception and service at breakfast. We felt we were treated like family and enjoyed the meal sitting outside and felt very welcome. We will definitely visit again.

We are used to hotel check in at the front desk, but after a while figured out how to do the get ourselves ton the room after opening hours of the restaurant down below.

Excellent service. There was a major problem as the hotel was too full, but the staff/owner went out of their way to fix the problem by finding me anther hotel, and reimbursed me 100% (+ new room free of charge). This is great service and you don't see this kind of "care" that often these days, hence why I do recommend this place!

Very friendly staff, quick check in. Room was great. Breakfast basic but more than I expected so I was pleasantly surprised! Great value for money given the location being so close to both lakes.

Staff courteous and exceptionally helpful -- willingly prepared take-away breakfast since I had to leave very early in the morning. Thirty seconds from Balerna train station but rooms are quiet since they are on side of hotel facing away from station. Rooms and bathrooms super clean. Splendid terrace for drinks or meals. Excellent price-quality relation. Am staying there again next month.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of food including juice, cereal, yogurt boiled eggs, cheese, meat bread, croissants and fruit as well as tea and coffee. The decor was very good with lots of natural Iight and a lovely garden. Great collection of old menus on display in the restaurant. Restaurant meal for dinner was excellent. Staff were very friendly an helpful.
