WOW WOW WOW Fantastic host - Ferdinand - extremely welcoming, chatty and great sense of humour. Beautiful boutique hotel, complimentary water, amazing breakfast, including freshly boiled eggs. Decoration throughout the hotel was exquisite. Great staff - helpful, polite and friendly. We were on a 16 day trip, visiting France, Italy and Switzerland. This hotel was by far the most outstanding, due to the decor, facilities, breakfast and the staff, lead by the fantastic Ferdinand! We will be back for sure!

Everything was FAB-U-LOUS!!!

Friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Ferdinand was delightful and very helpful in planning our days out from Burgdorf. The hotel is in a good central location close to several restaurants. Private parking space ( booked with hotel before arrival). Clean and modern hotel, comfortable bed. We loved the sound of nearby church bells and clocks chiming and slept well. Great views from the rooftop terrace Would definitely return if in the area.

Great hospitable host which made us feel really welcome. Great breakfast with many local products. The Hotel is in the old town, very close to the castle.

The rooms on the frontside are very nice. However, when there is market in Saturday morning, you might wake up a bit sooner than expected from people building up the market. Not a big deal at all, just to let you know.

Ferdinand is an excellent host! He will give you very helpful information to make your stay enjoyable! He enjoys having fun conversation with his guests! The hotel is wonderful! Very modern! My room was on a high floor with a balcony! The size of the room was great! The bed was very comfortable! Had nice modern furnishings and decor! The bathroom was neat too, with a space capsule shower! I went up to the top floor terrace to view the amazing panorama of the castle over the rooftops! It was so beautiful! It's even lighted at night! Breakfast was delicious! 😁 Had a great selection of cheese, bread, meat, yogurt, etc. The castle, restaurants and shopping are just steps away! Very enjoyable stay! Thanks again! 😊

Very helpful and very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Nicely decorated lobby and breakfast area. Place is run with the help of special needs personnel, which is beautiful asset.

Beds (mattress and pillows) are worn off, to soft and to uncomfortable.

Excellent breakfast, nice atmosphere

The owner is very friendly, but probably a tiny bit too much. Especially if you are not a morning person:) I really don’t need to be talked in all the languages, just judged by my last name. I speak German, the language of the place and that’s should be enough to communicate. Other than that the effort of making us feel good was really appreciated.

The main person at reception was amazingly friendly and went out of his way to help whenever possible. From calling a day before our stay to ensure no diet issues for breakfast/dinner to the need for parking. Also, he extended our stay for a few hours so we could leave our bags in the room and enjoy the city by walking around without an extra charge. This was much appreciated.

Super friendly staff with a lot of passion. They made vegan breakfast for us (order in advance!) Cool rooftop terrace. We were on a cycling trip and could lock our bikes indoor. No problem.
