The location of Bienenberg is exceptional, with a wonderful view down into the valley. Quieter than this is just not possible 😀. The staff were very friendly and efficient, as was the waiter service at supper and breakfast. They are dog-friendly and welcomed my pet as well as they welcomed me 🦮. Possibility to eat supper and also breakfast on the stunning terrace. Excellent WiFi, good hot water, comfortable room, what's not to like?

The size of my room was a little problematic for me and my labrador dog - next time I shall make sure I reserve a bigger room!

The view from the outdoor eating area was fantastic. The meals are generous and well presented and their is a good choice of both food and drink.

There was no fan in the room and the room was very hot. I was unable to sleep well with the window / door to fire escape open as I was eaten by mosquitoes. It is my only complaint and could be easily fixed.

The location is beautiful, right by a forest and some lovely trails and fields (perfect for dogs and humans alike). It also has a beautiful view. Staff were super friendly and flexible with us and our dog. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious (the best sorbet I ever had for dessert!). Room was extremely clean, bed and bedding super comfy. Yes, the room is stark (especially for the price), but being there feels much better than the pictures, it has a sort of calming/soothing effect and lets nature outside shine in through the many windows (we had a corner room, no balcony).

Hotel is located on a hill above Liestal and it has wonderful view to the Liestal Valley and to Basel. The rooms there are simple but good enough for a business trip.

I would like to have better courtains to reduce the light coming throught the windows in the morning

Bathroom too small with the curtain to open/close the shower, not so practical

Friendly reception by staff. Pro active and flexible to serve dinner on Sunday at 17.30hrs while they close at 18hrs. Nice location on mountain with view on Liestal. Relaxed parking and nice spacy rooms.

Breakfast has little choice in cereals (all crisps,no natural)

Arrived late but staff made us feel welcome with beer and a cocktail.

Only one pillow and towel but friendly staff soon sorted this out and took the price of our drinks off the bill.

This hotel has very good price value balance. Nice view from the terrace refresh your senses.

Pretty difficult to get the if you have no car

location was very quaint and the shower was very powerful and for the cash it was worth it, we used it as last stop before airport the next day

pillows was useless and rooms was small but acceptable for price
