It was a modern decorated Hotel. The welcome was very friendly and we felt welcome. Green question was too much and was answered immediately. Also the free Ticino Ticket a surprise. "An overnight stay in a participating hotel, hostel or campsite entitles visitors to a Ticino Ticket, giving them free public transport, including trains, throughout the region. Other benefits include generous reductions on cable cars, funiculars and other attractions We were nicely escorted to our "room". However, we had received a free upgrade, a complete apartment. How great was this! The apartment was cleaned every day. The breakfast was good and varied.

It is not a negative, but a point of attention for the holidaymaker who travels by car. The limited parking (10 places) of the Hotel. But if it is fully occupied, the Hotel also has good solutions, there is parking available at less than 5 minutes from the Hotel. The costs of this are minimal. The parking lot is accessible via two slightly steeper slopes, but with a good understanding it is easy to do.

Excellent value for money. Breakfast was very good, everything was fresh and tasty. Staff was very polite and made our stay in Locarno very pleasant. The location is very good, near to public transport and close to centre.

Started a bit messy by charging credit card twice with full price. Although refund was made the next day, monthly card limit was smaller because of second payment. There were too many messages from the hotel and a bit confusing online check-in and check-out procedure. I didn't like to give credit card number to someone unknown who is responsible for online check-in.

Everything!the hosts: Cinzia and Nadia were exceptionally friendly and helpful. the communication was easy and quick. we were travelling with our son and when we came to the hotel , we were very pleasantly surprised that our room was upgraded for a bigger one free of charge. we were also given a code for an online Ticino ticket that allows you to use public transport free of charge and get discounts at most sights. the location: is great -a 5-7-minute walk to the lake and to the main square.it also takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to the funicular Orselina, to cable cars and chair lifts Cardada-Cimetta. breakfast : breakfast was tasty , homemade by hosts, with good coffee and different options. rooms: simple but exceptionally clean , with all the basics you need and with a coffee machine in the room. all in all the hotel is a very cosy place with a home-like atmosphere created by the hosts. Definitely a place we would come back to when we travel to Ticino again.

Nadia and Cinzia are absolutely the best. Great recommendations, great breakfast they are always available. Rooms were spacious and clean and modern. Location is very nice. Short walk from train station. Would definitely recommend- great value.

The hotel is small and cosy. The paintings on the wall are very beautiful and everywhere, on the corridor, elevator and living room, there are creative and original decorations. I got a feeling of optimism and freshness. The hosts are kind and smiling, speaking at least four languages. The room was very clean.

Cinzia and Nadia are the most lovely and welcoming, the hotel is in the brilliant spot and close to everything you may want to see in Locarno. Lovely breakfast and comfortable room.

the only thing that was not perfect is the noise from the neighbouring rooms, I could hear people taking in the evening and snoring at night

Hotel was conveniently located ~ 5 minutes away from the train station, in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly and nice, often asking about your day with a smile. My room was upgraded, that was a really nice gesture.

Exceptionally kind and helpful staff, spacious room (got free upgrade from a double room to a small apartment!), delicious freshly cooked breakfast, free parking (though not a huge number of spots available)

Rooms were nicely appointed, and the hotel had a welcoming air. Staff were very nice.

Breakfast was a little limited in terms of hot food - only bacon and scrambled eggs. Some smoked salmon and meusli would also have been nice.

very friendly staff and very good recommendations in and around Locarno. the room was very cozy and well equipped.

I expected the bed to be bigger, nevertheless it was very compfortable to sleep in (even with two people)
