Modern hotel with well appointed, spacious room with large comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was of a very high standard with plenty of choice. Car parking in public underground car park but right next to the hotel. A very short walk into the old town which has a good choice of eating places and hostelries.

The address for the hotel is a pedestrian only zone. If it were given as the road on the other side of the hotel, which is Muhlentalstrasse, where the main entrance is located as well as access to the car park it would be easier to locate by car.

Room was lovely. Really cosy and spacious. We were able to have breakfast a day early (day of check-in) as we checked out at 3am and would've missed our breakfast which was paid for. We appreciated that. Location close to train station and we were able to check-in at 10am which was great.

Somebody tried to come into our room with a key whilst we were sleeping and woke us up. He had a key which suggests reception had checked him into our room despite us being there. We were unable to sleep after this. We made less fuss of it than we probably could have because we were too tired. Also the toilet continued to leak water after flushing continuously which was really annoying to listen to when trying to sleep.

Breakfast was amazing. lots of choices, fresh and for everyone something. Location was perfect, near the train station, but not noisy and close to town, easy walking distance.

we extended our stay but couldn't stay in the room. we booked on Booking.com again, but at the reception they said they were full and we couldn't stay another night, though I received the confirmation with booking.com. the gentleman at the desk said, that might be cancelled as they didn't see my booking and the hotel was full . I got a bit scared as we bought extra tickets for the music festival in town. in the end it was ok, but we had to call back during the day if we could stay or not, according to the booking we made

Very pleasant hotel well situated in the town. We booked a meal for first night which was excellent. Restaurant closed for our second night but there were places to eat in town. Very good breakfast. We were allowed to park our motorcycles outside the front of building which was very acceptable.

The staff was so kind as to store my luggage at the lobby after my leaving time, so that I could do some tourism around Schaffhausen before my flight departure.

The Wi-Fi should have a password, instead of being open. Otherwise it is not very secure against hackers.

location was very good - several minutes from everything not too noisy with the trains Excellent breakfast

dinner on Friday night - only one waiter for the whole room. he could have had somebody helping him to clean tables but he did very well in the circumstances

Big appartement. Super friendly staff. We were allowed to park our bikes next to the reception desk over night (super safe parking 😃) . Great restaurant! Great for families.

The location was great: straight across from the train station and everything was new.

The bathroom walls are made of glass. Both the shower and toilet have an awful echo and it was quite expensive for 1 night.

Proximity to main station. New building feel and new/modern facilities.

There was a little hiccup in terms of finding the right / booked room we had booked as we had 2 little children and a dog with us. Apparently the room had been set up accordingly but couldn’t be located. So we got another room and were told that the maid would come to set-up the children beds and blankets anew. After we started to unpack the suitcase and settle in, we were asked to move to the originally prepared room which was finally located. So we had to spend extra time and effort in re-packing the unpacked stuff and to unpack again. Except for a ‘sorry’ we didn’t receive any other benefits for the inconvenience.
