The hotel is perfect. It’s charming, clean and in a fabulous location between the Solothurn train station and the bridge into the Old Town. We booked two rooms for New Year’s Eve (a single for my teenaged niece) and it was the best value for money. The staff are super friendly and helpful (they made some modifications to our reservations and Daniela was super sweet at checkin and when we got cappuccinos, hot chocolate and croissants after breakfast had officially closed. They have a fabulous coffee machine available to guests next to the gorgeous area to drink and relax. Decor is very pretty! The beds are comfortable, linens are soft, and the rooms are very quiet. Super clean with great hot water and water pressure in the showers. Rooms accessible by elevator, so I will be bringing my older mom here, too. Now my favorite hotel in Solothurn (and my husband is from Solothurn and we’ve stayed in many hotels here). There is also an apartment where you can book individual rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom at great prices on this site. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return.

No complaints - it was perfect!

Hotel is very near the railway station, can walk to the hotel. My customer is in Grenchen, suggest me stay in this nice town. It is really nice, can spend half day to go around. The hotel people is very nice, even can't speak much English, But still trying their best to help me. Room and breakfast is very nice. BTW, when we check out, finally I found the WiFi password is wrote on a piece of small paper and sticker on the TV.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and had a large choice of food for everyone. Hotel was over the river from the main centre but it was close to walk across the bridge into the old town.

This hotel checked all my boxes for a short stay in Solothurn. I have stayed in the city many times on business trips but this time I was passing by privately. The hotel offers a very convenient location south of the river. A few parking paces for guests are available but they were occupied when we arrived. But the staff was very helpful in finding an alternative. There are a few parking garages (one with charging option which we were looking for) close by. Reception was very friendly and all the hotel details were explained very patiently. Rooms are basic but with comfortable beds and clean, properly working showers. There are no in-room coffee or tea facilities but guest can get free coffee from a machine near the reception. There is also a fridge with drinks and a request to write down anything you take from it. Very friendly. Breakfast also basic but good and it can be enjoyed on the small terrace in the back of the hotel. Prices are very friendly compared to the other (slightly more upscale) hotels in Solothurn.

It's more of a home than a hotel. Friendly people, good breakfast and perfect bedrooms. Also usually a parking space behind the hotel available. Location couldn't be better: in the center, but away from the hustle and bustle.

Great location. Nice continental breakfast with lots of choices and great birchermuesli. Pleasant patio a out back. Very friendly service. This is not a fancy hotel, just a simple, classic hotel in a pretty town.

Excellent position between the railway station and city center, if you want to explore the surroundings by bus/train you can' find a better accommodation. Comfortable bed, quiet room, good breakfast.

Room size ("cozy room") is OK, bathroom is borderline claustrophobic.

What a little gem of a hotel. Quirky, a great feel throughout and very clean. Walking distance to the old town of Solothurn. Breakfast had everything and was very nice.
