A slightly more expensive hotel where we stayed because reports of an approaching typhoon made us decide to look for a really good and safe hotel. Exceptionally for November, a typhoon was announced that seemed quite strong on the weather maps. However, by the day it was supposed to reach Taiwan, the typhoon had already weakened considerably and there was ultimately no problem anymore. The slightly more expensive hotel of course had very comfortable and large rooms with very large beds. The bathroom was equipped with a bath and a large shower cubicle. The room also has a kettle and tea. Funny thing was that in the evening we could not find all the switches to turn off the lights. One particular switch was hidden under a pillow on the bed 😊 Very large breakfast room with the most extensive breakfast buffet I have seen in Taiwan: Asian and Western dishes! Everything very tasty. When checking in, you choose a time slot within which you can have breakfast. The hotel is located 20 minutes walk from the train station: one long street with a sidewalk that has many small thresholds that doesn't make it easy for those travelling with a trolley. Very friendly staff at the reception who help with city maps and information on how to get somewhere. Ideal hotel for those who don't think it's too expensive.

Solid and reliable - just what you would expect from a four-star hotel. I drove to Tainan so I appreciated the underground parking lot. The rooms are large, comfortable, and soundproof. Also, even though the COVID-19 measures were in place, the hotel still offered a buffet breakfast which was a big plus. There is an option to mix your own tea from a variety of herbs which I made ample use of at breakfast.

The breakfast was very Chinese (Taiwanese) style. Most guests were local so it was probably OK for them but I would have appreciated more Western-style choices. Also, the TV channels included in the cable TV offer will bother you with neverending commercials which is, however, common in hotels around Taiwan.

My favorite hotel in 2 weeks in Taiwan. Great base to explore the Tainan city center. Fantastic, expansive breakfast. Huge bed. Free shuttle bus to the train station. Free laundry station in the basement. Sparkling water fountains, big teddy bears in the lobby, oh the decadence! Thank you for the great stay.

Communication in English was a bit of a challenge sometimes. The English instructions on how to use the laundry equipment could be improved because the text on the washing machines is completely different. A lady from Reception kindly came to the laundry room with me to select the right settings.

Overall is good, unexpectedly good. The room is spacious and bed very comfortable, we had a very good sleep during the 2 nights stay. It has a free self-service laundry. Car parking is good and can reach the room directly. Breakfast is good as well with lots of choices. Location was good as well.

The light in the bathroom is not good. I had difficulty putting on my contact lenses in the bathroom.

Breakfast was excellent, had everything to satisfy Asians and Western customers, and the personnel very friendly and efficients, just as much as the reception personnel who were also very efficients.. Thank you to all of them!! This Hotel did not get 5 stars just because there is no swimming pool but I give them a five stars for the efficient and flawless service.

I have just one liitle recommendation to the Housekeeping department.. Please put one more waste bin in the room for three peoples, (the one in the bathroom has its only purposes) as only one waste bin in the bedroom, is not enough at all!!! and can be messy, Thank you..

The beds were very comfortable. EXCELLENT breakfast buffet AND we got free vouchers for a drink from their coffee shop! Friendly staff and service and we were so glad that there's complementary parking. Great location. We enjoyed our stay!

The AC in the room was a bit finicky as a couple of degrees made the difference between a arctic ice box to "I think the AC is on...". With the change in temperature according to the AC, the carpet, hence the room, smelled musty. I think it's something the hotel is aware of but thought I'd mention it.

This hotel is located in a lively and interesting section of Tainan. We walked from the hotel to all of the major old town tourist attractions. The Confucius temple was about 20 minutes walk away. We found the neighborhood safe and walkable. There area a lot of small streets and alleys to explore. They are packed with temples and restaurants. The hotel was everything you would expect from a quality business hotel and was welcoming. There is ample parking under the building. The entrance is around the back of the building. Street level parking beside the building is for the neighboring businesses. We thought this was one of the better breakfast buffets of our trip.

It was pouring rain during our stay. The front desk had spare umbrellas to loan which was a huge help and ordered us taxis so we didn't have to search in the rain. Very clean and still following strict covid protocols during July. Noticed staff speaking Japanese as well as Mandarin and English. Everyone was very welcoming and professional. The room was a good size compared to some Asian business-oriented hotel rooms that tend to be smaller efficiencies. We didn't take advantage of the food so I cannot review that.

The room is spacious, comfort and clean. The staff are helpful. Free bicycle rental available there. The location is strategic, super convenient to night market, food restaurants, morning markets within walking distance and even more convenient with their bicycles plus an extra thoughtful handphone holder in each bicycle. There are free usage of washing machines and dryers in the basement which highly recommended to who travel long period in Taiwan like us. The breakfast full of variety, even with variety of flower tea (not tea pack, are dried flowers tea ingredients c/w guidelines of mix + match flowers), coffee machine with match latte, beef soup on the spot, and etc. Due to Sunday's crowd, the staff let us choose the section of breakfast in advance when we check-in. This hotel is considered fully covered all needs of hotel guests which surprise me! The hotel's management is really present their professionalism in this hospitality industry. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing stay in Tainan! The staff were super friendly and so kind and welcoming. The room was very spacious and the hotel provided free laundry and had a fresh and sparkling water dispenser. Breakfast at the hotel was also amazing, fresh and delicious for a buffet breakfast with lots of choices. The hotel is also a short walk from many of the tourist sites in the old area and also close to many bus stations to get to other parts of Tainan. 10/10 recommend this hotel.
