The convenience to the station! Was only a 2 min walk. Breakfast was basic, wished they had porridge. Some days they had spicy chicken chop with tamagoyaki and chicken bamboo soup. And other days were just bacon potatos and hard boiled egg. The room was equipped with assisted railings and a movable rack in the bathroom, which I found a little odd. No place to hang towels or clothes while bathing. The jacuzzi outside was fantastic. They had micro/nano bubbles that made the water murky and it was such a good soak after a long day of exploring. The Shilin Night Market could be accessible by walking too!

Nothing! Wished we could had extended our stay as our flight was delayed but they were fully booked.

We liked the location. Jiantan station is outside the door. The night market is a block away. The bed was excellent. The bed linen was good. The room and bathroom are spacious and modern and well looked after. I had my best sleep in Two months of travel.

Nothing to moan about. Some notes. The Tango Hotel Taipei Shilin and Tango Jiantan are right beside each other with the Tango Inn next door. Check in is at the Jiantan. Staff are efficient, it’s an inner city business type hotel. The breakfast was good, workmanlike.

About 5-8 min walk to Shilin night market. Room was upgraded to 2-person jacuzzi on the balcony.

Rooms are on the smaller side. We had to share a king size bed with my hubby and 8-year old. If you want an additional bed/roll-away, you need to ask in advance.

It is so close to the jiantan metro, and 5 mins walk to shilin night market. Even through it is close to subway, but my sleep is not interrupt by the train or car sound. Very comfortable and quiet sleep. The reception is so so helpful, as I got a night flight.. they offer me free coffee... It is so thoughtful of them.. thanks so much.

The room was comfortable and clean. We got free drinks and snacks daily. The room was cleaned daily. The hotel is very near the MRT station and the night market was also within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and room was quiet as we requested.

The breakfast was pretty simple but they managed to make a vegetarian option on request.

The breakfast was fine. A lot was Chinese style which we like and find normal in Taiwan. However a continental style is also available Staff were helpful and friendly

Many staff wear masks which is understandable but off putting. They have little room to be flexible with regard to rules and timings

Check in only after 4pm not convenient for visitors. Apart from 1 gentleman and 1 lady greeting guests almost every time, the rest of receptionist staff are very cool and sometimes make me feel not welcomed in the hotel. Simple breakfast and will be good if more varieties. Room size relatively small.

Fantastic location. Great amenities. 5 minute walk to night market, 10 minute Uber to airport. Breakfast was a nice touch. Loved the view from the balcony.

The big balcony with a massage bathtub in our room was nice. The view from the bedroom window was wonderful because of green, though we stayed in the city, in where a lot of high rising buildings. The Taxi call Service was convenient. The lobby was nice for meeting friends. The pool gave us a relaxed atmosphere.

The breakfast was a little bit boring.

They serve continental breakfast, croissant was our favorite. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is superb, just next to the train station. Room was relatively large, comfortable, clean and a good size. Just a short walk to night markets with local food. Overall I recommend this hotel in this location as price is good and rooms are great.
