Lovely and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and comfortable room with a good mattress. Strong WiFi, great location, good pool with clean and functional showers and towels brought to you, excellent waterfront restaurants (extra charge). Ample parking, the gym looked nice. The boats to the neighbouring islands depart from Slipway which is very handy if you want to visit the beautiful beach on Bongoyo (Slipway beach isn't really for swimming). Everything is available at the resort - coffee shops, ice cream parlour, bars, ATM, souvenir market, hairdressers/beauty salon, etc etc.

You have to pay 10,000 per day per child to use the kids playground (operated by a third party?) this should be free for guests! The lunch we had at the hotel was quite poor - stale bread, plastic cheese, dry chicken and a strange way of making a veg pizza by putting one topping on each quarter. Sometimes there are events on at the hotel which mean guests can't use the pool/usual lunch menu isn't available.

After arrival we got a free room upgrade to a suite. The suite was clean and spacious. The hotel as such looks fine and there are a lot of little shops, restaurants and bars around it. The staff was super nice and helpful.

Breakfast selection tasted mostly a bit plain but ok. There were some short power cuts but I guess that is to be expected in Dar. It was only a few seconds until the generator started and the lights went back on. Also we got 2 (sometimes 3) small free bottles of water for two people a day but that's not a lot when you consider that you also have to use it for brushing your teeth with that at least twice a day.

House keeper tried to rush me to check out because "she had another client". This after I had to wait an hour for them to bring bath towels, and another hour to pick up my laundry. When they want something they want you to hurry, but if you need something get ready to grow old before they get it for you. They double charged me for the city tax too even though I was the only one staying in the room. They said because the room was reserved for two, I had to pay for an imaginary person as well.

Amazing location with great views and a lot to do around. The service from staff was top tier and whenever I had issue they fixed it. The view was simply gorgeous. The bathroom was so cute and really loved it. The location of the hotel is near amazing night life and so many great restaurants The hotel is good value for money. I will definitely stay there again.

Carpet was clean but had discolouration patches. I also has leaking tap which was fixed. Both these things did not ruin my experience overall, pleased

Location and room

I thought that the breakfast was a bit limited this time. We arrives after a long journey from Muheza at 6.0pm and would have very much like a swim in the pool but were disapointed to be told that we were too late as the pool was closed. We ad to wait until the following morning before we could use it.

great area, good shopping and restaurants nearby, nice pool, friendly reception and house keeping staff, comfortable room for a short visit.

it would have been nice to know how much it would cost for an upgrade to an ocean view room upon arrival as we stayed for three nights as tourists, not business guests. in room dining was limited. terrace dining was not managed well- little attention to table clearing and resetting, menu is a bit narrow.

Sea view and sunset view, room size and comfort, breakfast, location ....

Security needs to be tightened at the entrance door of the Seaview rooms, as at night the working girls are entering even without guests. The safe wasn't working on my room.

Very safe and nice hotel with a cohort of shops and restaurants at the bottom. Comfortable mattress and silent room.

Amazing safe location in a beach front complex hosting many curio shops, restaurants. Very safe for a solo female traveller.

Sometimes the room was noisy as the music from the restaurant bar was very loud until midnight

We enjoyed our room, the lcation, clean and well maintained hotel, nice restaurants and big playground ( 4 usd pr child pr day) . clean beach and extremely friendly staff, let me highlight. Peter and Mustafa, to young well trained ambitious young waiters in the restaurant and the chef in the morning making your eggs , they make you feel highly welcome and always with a smile learning your habbits , so they know what you like and want without asking them more than the first day, 5 star service from these 3 guys THANK YOU !

You get only 1 room key/ card, this is anoying and a micro investment , as the main door to the rooms needs the key card, so if one leaves the electricity goes in your room, this must be changed !! Pool closes 6 pm, sorry but this is where us white people and kids can enjoy swimming without getting sunburned , bad management , do not sacrifice your wonderful pool to restaurant guests as decoration !!
