Spacious rooms. Clean bathrooms.

Cute and rustic might describe the property best: small cottages (room sized) with front and back door, king bed below and loft with comfortable mattress, fan and window over the bathroom, accessible via a steep ladder. Units were formally laid out with well kept gravel paths and high hedges providing adequate separation and access. The main street, shops and restaurants were only a short walk away, down a paved street. There was a very small pool.

We experienced a severe language barrier here and had difficulty understanding where things were (the main street, the restaurant (none - breakfast orders were "take out" with limited choice, picked up at a central building from a very pleasant sever who usually didn't understand us.). We purchased drinks at the site when it was open, but found it preferable to eat out at one of the many restaurants on the main street. The loft was okay (our grandson said), but be warned: the ladder will be a challenge for those born before the turn of the century. At 87, I opted for the lower level bed.

The staff were all super friendly and were very accommodating when I had to extend my stay multiple times due to getting hit by a motorbike, and they all made sure that I was okay and had everything I needed :) also very quiet, peaceful pool area (I didn’t go inside the pool), warm showers, great wifi, comfy room, very good AC, beautiful view of the nearby garden and mountains, delicious breakfast from the hotel bar, clean, and it is easy to get a grab/taxi from here!

Lots of ants inside the room, I had to throw away a box of cereal since there was a trail of ants all over the box :( also very hard beds, the walls are thin and you can hear everything from the room next door, location is far from the beach (but to be fair I knew this before booking) and you have to cross a major intersection that isn’t pedestrian friendly to access the beach and any of the nearby stores/ restaurants. Also lots of stray dogs on the road to get to the hotel, but luckily they were harmless. This place would be more ideal i think for a shorter stay and if you had a motorbike or car

Absolutely everything. This place is magical. The swimming pool surrounded by all this vegetation reminds me how exceptional and perfect this place is for rejuvenation. There is also a bar with food and drinks. The rooms have two beds and are perfect for travelers in groups or with family. The staff is extremely helpful, always with a smile on their faces. It really makes you want to stay here and, most importantly, to come back. The location is perfect for me. Close to Ao Nang Beach and its amenities, while still allowing me to enjoy the peace and serenity of the place.

As someone who is usually lazy to write reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience at this hotel. The manager is THE nicest men we encountered on our 3 month journey in Thailand , made our stay exceptional. His warmth and intelligence, coupled with going the extra mile to assist with transportation troubles, added an exceptional touch to our experience at the Canopy. Highly recommend this place for its outstanding hospitality. In addition to the exceptional service, the hotel itself is a really gorgeous place. The minimalistic environment, accompanied by a nice pool lounge and beautiful plants, created a tranquil atmosphere that added to the overall charm of the stay. It's a perfect blend of aesthetics and comfort.

We loved the nature. You can rent a skuter in the hotel for only 250 baht/day, which is nice. We got 2 bottles of water every day. The staff were very friendly, even if sometimes they didn't understand us.

If you want to be close to the Ao Nang beach, we recommend that you either go closer or rent a bike every day (it is about 30 minutes walk to the beach). There were ants on the bed side table. The whole Krabi didn't have electricity and water for one day - it would be great if guests would be informed about it.

A hidden gem in Aonang .. in a quiet spot but still easy to reach the beach . Good communication form the staff. We arrived later than planned and reception was unmanned but one phone call and they were there in 5 mins to let us into the bungalow which was super cute with a double bed downstairs and another upstairs in a loft mezzanine area .. rooms were simple but clean and fresh. All new .. small pool but nice shaded. Seating around it. Still doing some work to the Facilities to create a bar and breakfast area which will improve it even more. The staff could not have been more helpful . Assisted when our tour pick up was late and helped load our luggage on .. would love to return here and would’ve highly recommend this .. excellent value for money in this tranquil spot ..

The room and concept of The Canopy is outstanding and unique. Everything is simple, but with such love to detail decorated and taken care of. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. My favorite are the bathrooms, I like the golden details the most and the small, but cozy pool area..

The lightning in the room is very white, I would suggest to change to a more decent (yellowish) bulb color. For the ambience, as well as to prevent mosquitos.

It is spacious, cozy, has a good indoor lighting, new bed linen and towels, comfy mattress. The bungalow has great interior design. Cool garden with trees, swimming pool and sunbeds. The pool is small but nice and refreshing.

The location is not central, about 20 minutes walking to the centre. The staff helps with everything upon your request but they are not proactive. It wasn’t squeaky clean.

I loved how clean the rooms were, the lady who made our breakfast was amazing. so much effort a love being put into each meal. The staff was really friendly and always had a smile on their face.

The pool wasn't working, but they did compensate us with breafkast.
