The entire resort is very cozy and well taken care of. The room is spacious and comfy with brand-new Aircon. The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, on the main street and lots of restaurants nearby. ( I recommend Pawns restaurant nearby, the banana flower curry was the best dish of our entire one month vacation) Breakfast very good too. We enjoyed our stay.

On the first day of arrival we noticed a very strong unpleasant smell of mold in the room which was so intense that it is hard to believe the housekeeping did not notice or care. We spent the first night with open windows. The day after I discovered that the smell came from one pillow and the three red decorative pillows which had definitely been washed but not dried properly and therefore stunk. Out of politeness we did not complain and simply left those pillows outside on the terrace which instantly solved the issue. Since the room had an extra bed we did not need another pillow. The mosquito net had a few tiny holes. We told the owner about the pillows when we left.

Absolutely everything was fantastic. Plenty to do around - nice small shops, good food and tourist-catering party places - and plenty of tours offered by the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and nestled within the outskirts of the rainforest.

The hotel charges large premiums on private transfers - or uses expensive transfer companies. Make sure you plan to leave on one of the public transfers, which run only in the morning.

Where to start? This bungalow resort in the middle of the jungle is more then awesome. First I was a little bit sceptic because of the reviews off the hard matras. Or they changed it, or people are overdrawing it. The staff is very helpful and kind. They are helping you with booking tours and they are trying to make it the best stay in Thailand. The bungalow is very clean, with a nice bed and a dark room. The a/c is working fine with the automatic stand and you can sit outside enjoying the sound and view of the jungle. They have also a small restaurant at the reception. The food they serve is phenomenal. They are adapting it to your spice which is great. The breakfast is the best. You can eat breakfast al-la-carte from the card for no additional costs (when you booked a stay with breakfast). If you are not sure to book it with or without, trust me it is worth it. You can sit at the veranda which is next to the river and watch people swim/tubing/rafting down the river. Also the bungalows have a good WiFi connection in the whole area which is great if you don’t have a Thai simcard.

The only downside of the bungalows are that the powerpoints for your mobile charger is very bad. When you put the charger in, it instant falling out of the point. You have to figure out something. In my case I solved it with a bottle of water next to the point to get the cable stable.

perfect stay! nice bungalow, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, basic but good breakfast, mosquito net. you can also book the khao sok Tours in the Resort, there are 3 different tours, we took number 2 with an amazing cave we walked though (nam talu cave) unfortunately we couldn’t walk through the whole cave, since it was beginning of the rain season but what we saw was just stunning & tough with swimming. 😀 good food, very basic bungalows but still enough for one night. price is as fare as I know everywhere the same in the village. they booked us also a bus+ferry to koh phangan

nothing. it was really good. the only thing with the tour maybe, it felt sometimes a bit disorganized but that’s complaining at a high level 😀

The resort is located in the jungle but next to the river and main street which makes the transfer to the Khao Sok national park so much easier. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, but the resort's own restaurant is perhaps one of the best in the town in my opinion. The resort pays a lot of attention to balancing conservation and comfort. The room has very simple finishing but with a lot of timber shelves on wall. The bamboo structure is very useful for both storage and hanging washing. A fan provided on top of aircon is very handy in promoting air circulation in the room. There are varieties of food to choose from for breakfast. Rooms, facilities and dining areas are all kept very clean. It is very rare to see all the cutlery are wrapped at the tips with a piece of tissue for hygiene purpose. We booked bamboo rafting and elephant bathing with the resort and they are all very worthy. Resort also helped us with a private transfer to Khao Lak which turned out to be very smooth. However, the best memories of this resort is its people, who are willing to do everything that they can to make the guests happy. Tong checked us in and out with assistance of our luggage. He always smiles and offers help. Oat is very warm and experienced in sorting things out. Toey, thank you for taking us to a local waterfall after the elephant sanctuary.

Hopefully more power points are fitted in rooms.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We want to thank the staff for their great helpfulness in organizing trips. They were very organized when you booked with them and it was great you could trust everything works out well (also transport for going to next destination and a special hiking requests in another area of the park). The whole team gave had very warm welcoming spirit and it was a pleasure to be around. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty (recommend the fresh made banana pancakes!) and we tried different things in the evening as well which was always very very tasty (and very fair priced too). So far our nicest place in Thailand and we liked it a lot, would recommend any time!

Best stay of our trip so far! The STAFF are what makes this place, they go above and beyond, so friendly and accommodating. We had a river view bungalow which was perfect, the bathrooms are a little basic but exactly what you would expect for the price of the stay. Breakfast and the restaurant was fantastic. When you arrive you get a lovely welcome drink and they give you a book of different activities you can book through them. We booked the elephant sanctuary after arriving at 2pm for the same day! We did the two day bungalow lake excursion and they held our bags in reception. Honestly the staff were just amazing would highly recommend!

Amazing staff! Very welcoming, and they made us stay so much easier by booking all our day trips, transport ect. It seemed the staff really valued customer service and focused on making sure we were happy. Really good breakfast, plenty of options and you can order as much as you want. Also had lunch here a few times, good prices and exceptional food. When we went for our day trip to the lake, they packed us a waterproof bag with towels, headtorches and rain ponchos. Rooms were lovely and clean with very good aircon and mosquito net, even though room was very well sealed from the outside. Wifi worked great. Also booked transport to our next destination (Ao nang), which went very smoothly and quick, so is obvious they choose good companies that provide good service over just whatevers cheapest.

Sometimes you stay at a place that is super special…. and for me River and Jungle resort in Khao Sok was one of those places… The river bungalows are beautiful, incredibly clean, no bugs and even a monkey right outside some mornings!… the staff were incredibly welcoming, warm and super kind. They helped me organise some great tours and were always super happy to answer any questions or just have a little chat and a laugh… it’s a great location, wonderfully peaceful and the food is also really tasty, especially the fried tofu and coconut milkshake! I would highly recommend staying here when in Khao Sok! Happy travels! :)

AC worked great, super hot water in the shower, helpful and friendly staff, can order as much as you want off the breakfast menu, lovely garden and overall nice property right by the river. They kept our bags while we did the overnight lake tour and when the tour ended, we were taking a transfer (minivan) to the Surat Thani airport and the person who picked us up had all our bags so we were thrilled that all of that went smoothly.

Everything went great but if I had to mention something I didn’t like was the description / info provided for the overnight lake tour we booked at the resort. IMHO it should be a lot more detailed showing some type of schedule and what to expect for each activity. We booked the one where you stay at Keeree Warin floating house on the lake and the “lunch” on day 2 (right before the tour ends) was COMPLETELY unacceptable (just rice with minimal amount of egg and a 3 pack of Oreos 😂).
