We took time to look for an accommodation (through booking) in Khao Lak, not resort, not crowded, relaxing, good value for money. Glad we stayed in ThaiLife. This place is a hidden relaxing spot away from Phuket. Rooms overlook a nice lake where you can here the sounds of nature. Rooms are comfortable and very spacious, well decorated with a Thai touch. The hotel is overall well maintained.

Not much to see around, it’s a place where you rather stay on the beach or at the hotel. It was fine for us for 1.5 days and 2 nights. We heard several bad comments on Google regarding the beach bar restaurant. We are very used to Thai food as we travel often to Thailand. Honestly the restaurant was ok, nothing to complain about, and prices didn’t shock us for a hotel restaurant on the beach.

Quiet location with lake. Private Beach is a 3min drive away very easy. Has massage and restaurant there. Rooms are abit dated but super clean and comfortable with awesome balcony/lake view, great bed and outdoor shower. The best part it is a pet friendly resort, but only the Premium Villas are available as pet friendly so beware when booking we called ahead to make sure. Costs Extra 500thb per night and some dog snacks are included. Big grounds to walk around with many different birds especially in morning very nice. Overall would stay again if passing through Khao lak 👌🏼 we enjoyed it thankyou 🙏🏼

This place has a wonderful, calming vibe and is impeccably clean and well-maintained. The natural surroundings are stunning. Although the beach requires a short walk, it’s a pleasant journey. It’s also pet-friendly, which is a big plus. The room is spacious, with comfortable bedding and a well-equipped workspace, complete with a table, a cozy corner, a microwave, and a large fridge—those are great bonuses. The AC works well, and there’s even an electric fan, though the gentle breeze through the mosquito net is perfect when the windows are open. My favorite part is the view of the big pond at night—it’s truly magical. I will definitely be returning. Thanks for having me.

-This place is ideal for those seeking to immerse themselves in nature, far from the bustle of urban Khao Lak. -The breakfast buffet is decent, though there’s room for improvement. However, the completely organic, free-range bantam eggs were a delightful highlight. -The curtains is not blackout type but it doesn’t bother me.

We enjoyed a night here during low season (June 2023) and the lake-side villa we stayed in was outstanding...spacious, comfortable bed, beautiful view, absolute peace and quiet - and we loved the outdoor shower too! The staff were very friendly, and the location of the resort near a quiet and secluded beach was wonderful. The main restauarant was undergoing renovations, so both dinner and breakfast was at the resort's beachside restaurant - a short walk from where we were staying. The menu selection was well thought-out, especially for vegetarians, and was both reasnably priced and tasty. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyable, though we did have to ask for the hot dishes to be heated up (which was quick and easy). If you're looking for a quiet retreat in luxurious surroundings, this is a super option and we highly recommend it!

We went one night in ThaiLife and I really think it was perfect! We had a beautiful and spacious villa by the lake. It was quiet and peaceful there, which was great because we were with a small child. Excellent location, walking distance to the beach, helpful staff and delicious breakfast. The bed in our room was huge! And I'm in love with the outdoor shower!

The location, the park and the staff. It can’t be stressed enough how competent each of staff members are regardless of their role or funtion.

As a returning customer it feels to me that there is a decline of the quality in general. I’m not sure if this is still covid related or seasonal. E.g. the park restaurant is only open for breakfast, inside spa only after reservation., room service limited, local food court abandoned, beach facilities have lost their charm, sun beds and shading need urgent update. The fact that more land is for sale or lease doesn’t give me confidence that this initial oasis of peace will keep it’s charm in the future.

The nature, the quietness and the beautiful ocean. Our Dusita Premier room was lovely and the view of the lake from the patio was amazing. Breakfast was very good every morning.

It’s a bit far from other places and a taxi ride is needed to go anywhere. The food in the beach restaurant was just ok, and was quite expensive.

Great location. Wonderful beach. Great having usage of bicycles. Breakfast with fresh organic vegetables and a different juice each day was terrific.

Lots of information about high priced organized tours in the area. Hard to get information about other options.

Lovely helpful staff, clean large villa with a nice view over a lagoon area, beautiful beach 10 minute walk away/free shuttle ride away.

The location is a bit remote from Khao Lak town itself so it is good to have transport options especially if staying a longer time. Not loads of options to eat around the area within walking distance.

This place is really quiet and beautiful, very good to stay here for relaxation. I loved to bicycle in the park, or go to the beach, watching the owls and water buffaloes, I even saw a monitor lizard in the lake.

Unfortunately the air conditioner wasn't too effective in that large room, so mostly it was hot, very hot, but not too bad. The swimming pool is small, and it wasn't too clean.
