Spacious and Super clean, daily room refresh is great. Quiet and secure. It’s a great space to get to various parts of Bangkok easily but also far enough away not to be blasted by city noise. It’s in a non tourist area, with plenty of authentic Thai eateries within walking distance, and they’re Thai prices not ramped up for tourists. If you can’t speak the language, the hotel staff are all excellent speakers and can assist with any queries uou may have. You can also use the on site hotel laundry to wash and dry clothing.

Bed is on the hard side but it's fine. Location a bit far from the central but MRT is nearby. Chatuchak just 3 stops away. No halal food nearby but just use Grab

Very clean rooms that were interconnected, so perfect for my family. The whole hotel is compact and the pool is small but a nice addition for a smaller hotel in Bangkok. There was a basic sink and kitchenette with microwave and a fridge. Water was supplied daily and more was available to buy in the hotel lobby. There was also washing facilities and car parking. Security is maintained at night with a guard and a keycard to access the lobby/ elevators. It is a five minute walk to the MRT which is only 6 stops from Sukhumvit and close to Chatuchak. Staff were helpful and made sure the security guard had my 500 baht security deposit to give to me because of an early check out to get to the airport. There are a few restaurants around the area and a market. The little Vietnamese place up the road is a good, cheap option. 7-Eleven close by in the opposite direction. All in all, a little gem of a place for the budget traveller.

The room was like a mini apartment with plenty of space and so relaxing! Staff were so so friendly and even gave me a handmade bag as a gift! Definitely recommend a visit here

Fridge and kettle in the room. Pool. Wifi didn't reach our room and they gave extra modem. Every day room cleaning. If I understood right, free coffee and tea for customers (nobody told me this, had to realize on my own). We could let our luggage there for a day after check-out. Night market behind hotel on Wednesdays.

Pool area is small. No sunbed, only few chairs and couple of dirty mattresses. No pool towels. Gym is just a joke, a few old equipments at the corner. A lot of stuff in the building

The apartment with two rooms and a hall were very clean and spacious, accommodate 6 of us as a family .The room service was fantastic. In fact, we told them that we didn't need to change the towels everyday but needed more drinking water and they attended to the request immediately, our fridge was loaded up with mineral water. When we needed help to take the local transport to a particular destination, the lady in charge walked out to the street to call for a taxi and mentioned the name of the place to the driver. They were very helpful and kind. The place is very near to a flea market on certain days. Very close to 7 eleven and Lotus fresh. Walking distance to the MRT station that connects to every where. It is definitely recommended.

The location is not in the centre of the city which we prefer some quietness.

The property appears to be family-owned and is exceptionally well-maintained, offering a rustic charm with wooden statues and figurines, especially in the main lobby. It features a gym and a common area with a large wooden table, perfect for relaxing or enjoying meals together. Located about 35 minutes (traffic permitting) from Suvarnabhumi Airport, the property is somewhat distant from many of Bangkok’s main tourist attractions and is quiet, ideal if you want to a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it’s a great choice for large groups or families, as you can easily split transportation costs. It’s under 15 minutes from Chatuchak and Bangsue Junction, making it ideal if you plan to explore that area. Walking distance to some local eateries and cafes as well, and we're lucky to catch a flea market pop up a few steps away on our last day! The hosts and staff are also very, very polite and made sure to accommodate our questions and requests. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it primarily for larger groups or families.

Glass division between the toilet bowl and the shower could be bigger. We struggled with keeping the area around the toilet bowl clean and dry.

Friendly staff. 7-11 super near. MRT abt 10 to 15 mins walk. Room and toilet are super clean. Late checkout. Feels safe to stay for a female solo traveller. I was given a tote bag at the end of my check out. Thank you staff of Baan Tanwa for the lovely accommodation! 😊

For a low affordable price, don't expect 5 star facilities/experiences. But below are just my solely experiences.. 1.No telephone in the room so need to go down to speak to staff. 2.Bed mattress not so comfy but it's ok. 3.Window blinds can't adjust to full. 4.Air con leaking but not constantly. Sometimes room is warm and then cold again. 5.Water pressure for the shower was slightly weak.

The rooms are cleaned daily, which is a definite plus, and the overall cleanliness of the space was satisfactory. However, I was disappointed to find items left behind by previous guests in the bathroom, which gave the impression that attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance was lacking. Discovering such things can be unsettling and raises concerns about the thoroughness of the housekeeping process.

The receptionist, who I assume is part of the family that owns the business, was neither polite nor welcoming. From the moment I arrived, their demeanor was cold, bordering on rude, and they seemed irritated by basic inquiries. Simple requests, such as clarifications about amenities or local recommendations, were met with impatience or dismissive responses, making me feel like I was inconveniencing them.

This our second stay here. While not on the cheap side of the equation the proximity to the Ratchada Pisek MRT is the bonus. Equal distance to BKK, DMK, Mochit 2 and downtown makes the hotel an ideal location for travellers. Several small but tasty restaurants(we eat local Thai style) nearby, 7/11 next door and another on the route to the MRT(12min walk). Great pool that our kids took advantage of. This is a good stay for families as they have a few different room options and bed types. Bangkok doesn’t have that many choices for families that check all the boxes that are affordable, after hours of looking online during the bus ride into town(a chore I am enjoying less and less) we decided to stick with what we know because of the aforementioned reasons. We will come and stay again.
