Only 4km from Bangkok central train station (but taxi could take 30 mins). Quiet residential area. Room was compact but had enough storage areas and (importantly!) power sockets. Comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Walk of at least 1km to reach shops like 7-11 or ATMs or BTS station. Range of TV channels disappointing. Curious design with washbasin, toilet and shower in separate cubicles. Breakfast starts very late and early travellers have to manage with a limited Breakfast Box.

It’s a nice place to stay, the staff are nice and the restaurant has great food. Expensive for BKK standards, but great.

The hotel has a restaurant that hosts parties and when this happens, the whole hotel is super loud and you don’t feel like using the pool because it is taken over by the people in the party. They might not swim in it, but the music and the crowds are there. Really annoying, specially when it happens on the weekends, when you are looking forward to relax after a week of work. Breakfast is great but they don’t have an option to choose the buffet only and it makes it really expensive for BKK standards.

New, spotlessly clean, and situated a peaceful and easy few minutes walk from plenty of great restaurants, bars, and cafes in Ari. Extremely design-forward and thoughtfully laid out. The rooms are comfortable, with all small details accounted for, and really nice recessed lighting. The bathrooms are massive, and wouldn’t be out of place in a much more expensive 5 star property. The pool/lounge area is super aesthetic, with plenty of locals instagramming up a storm. Generally a great value for the price.

Despite my wife and I’s best efforts, we couldn’t figure out how to get the water to a comfortable temperature. Not sure if it was our room, or the way their hot water system works, but it seemed to tilt between coldish and blazing hot. Secondly, the WiFi will disconnect after each session. End result: we needed to reenter login credentials around 5-10 times a day, which is a little irritating.

The staff at the Craftsman hotel are delightful and extremely helpful with our suitcases - we had quite a few as it was a Christmas break with lots of family presents

This short stay we had breakfast included. The Brunch menu has lots of excellent dishes on offer but sadly these are not on the hotel breakfast menu. I would have loved it if the breakfast hot dish included avocado on toast. Also the Buffet fresh fruit offer was a little disappointing - 3 mornings in a row the offer was watermelon, dragon fruit and papaya - a bit bland.

Great pool and breakfast area, there are only a few loungers but it always seemed to be enough. Access to a great spa. Rooms are comfortable, loved the design of the space. Great that free bottled water is included. Helpful that there is a tuktuk shuttle to the Ari BYS station; in general great location!

The room wasn’t that spacious but maybe that’s normal for Bangkok. Also our shower didn’t get that hot but maybe I should have said something. Shuttle service was available but sometimes difficult to book because the staff were often confused I guess due to language barriers.

Good value for money. place close to where we needed to be for a coocking class, so very handy and safe location. The room we chose was good although a bit more roomy would have been better. The restaurant below has some amazing food and the swimming pool is good also to swim laps. Great facility to do the laundry at the top.

I should have picked a bit of a roomier room as it was a bit squeezy with the king bed and the working space. I could not faulty the hotel, the spa or the restaurant or service.

it’s quite peaceful and away from all hustle of city. it has good connectivity from public and private transport system. Staff is quite courteous and helpful. they respond very fast and follow rules strictly.

restaurant does not serve buffet even you have paid for buffet breakfast and it is outsourced, bills issued by restaurants will be different from hotel for whatever you have to eat, as I was not aware of Thai cuisine I ordered out five options and sometime have to eat sweet food although being diabetic. No repeat or refills are allowed for breakfast.

The hotel is very cozy. Decor and vibe are enjoyable. The rooms are suitable for 2 people comfortably. There's a good restaurant on the ground floor, it's a good idea to make a reservation to sit outside because there are many visitors there.

During the early hours of the morning I heard a noise, similar to that of a washing machine running. The hotel could offer guests a special condition in the restaurant, especially for breakfast.

Very stylish “instagram” hotel. Hotel bar is very popular in the evenings, but music stops at 22.00 and soundproofing is good. The spa was worth a visit and the hotel team was very nice and helpful. We also loved Ari area - lots of pretty cafes with hidden terraces, very relaxed and quiet, but not too remote. My favorite in Bangkok.

We read it in other reviews and I confirm - the room was on the small side. Also separated placement of toilet, washbasin and shower is very questionable. I think design won over functionality here.
