we stayed at this hotel for four nights, and grew increasingly fond of the location which was in a very vibrant student area so wondering around in the evening was great, but we got back from the main city The hotel itself was slightly bizarre and access to the room was via a fairly dark set of stairs, but once you’ve got used to that it was fine. The Wi-Fi was the best of the four hotels we have stayed in so far in our tour of Thailand and the bed the comfiest

Staff were not that trusting of guests, asking for a deposit for the ring key and insisting on checking the room before we left. Have experienced this before so it wasn’t a great problem in all reality, and did not detract from our stay here.

The service was extremely nice and everyone there was super helpful, kind, and good at English. We are from Taiwan so we could only talk to them in English, but they had no problem answering any question at all. They also provide a car booking service and this is amazing because taxis in Bangkok can be very unpredictable for foreign visitors (drivers might cancel the order a few minutes before the appointed time) and the traffic can be heinous sometimes. Drivers contacted by the staff at House of Papa are very punctual and since the staff are all Thai they can communicate seamlessly. Also, they provide new bottled water every day (and put it in the refrigerator if there is one in the room). Overall, the staff there are all very professional and easy to communicate with. The environment was great and they also had a little courtyard where you could have meals. The price was reasonable as well! It really was a wonderful experience living in this hotel.

It was practically beside the Chulalongkorn University where I needed to go for my business trip. It is also in a good area, close to a market and a lively area to enjoy Thai food. The staff were also great and very helpful—this is very important.

Room was a little smaller than I expected (based on photos), e.g., no work station; but it was still a good deal to me since I mostly went to the university and spent all the time outside.

That area of Bangkok is great and the hotel feels very cozy. The coffee shop at the entrance is lovely and the stuff ready to help.

One of the reasons we booked the hotel was because they had EV chargers. When we called to check if the chargers at the hotel were available, stuff told us they didn't have any, but once we got there we saw the EV chargers available, it is not a big deal but stuff should be informed, thanks.

Location was close to lots of local food options (bustling food scene at night and morning). Not very touristy area, but accessible to tourist spots via walking (15-20 mins) to trains or to local canal boats. Decor was cute and comfortable.

We were on fourth floor without elevator. A nuisance but not an issue for us (just a warning to others who may have mobility issues). Bed was very springy, pillows were very large so not comfortable for the neck.

Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The design is very beautiful, and the room is spacious and comfortable. You'll find everything you need around the hotel, including restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket. It will definitely be my first choice when I return to Bangkok. The staff is always smiling and very helpful as well

It is centrally located. The staff is nice and helpful. The room was very clean. It is a good bargain for its price.

Walls are relatively thin and pillows were puffed, which makes it difficult to sleep for light sleepers. There is no elevator going to rooms.This wasn't problem for us, however it is good to know. The staff offers help to carry luggages through the staircases. Another good to know is that, there is no safe in the room.

I am sure that it is the best location. There are everything near and you can go by feet to the train station or everywhere. There are a lot of cafes near and fresh fruits sellers.

The pillows were very puffed and we couldn't sleep well on it.

Great location near the university and a decent walk to the city center. Many restaurants and street food stalls nearby. Nice room with adequate space and friendly staff.

The water in the shower wasn't ever very hot.

The staff was affable and hospitable, the room had a delightful antique interior and was clean and neat. We could find all sorts of nice restaurants to dine in with a few minutes of walking, so the placement was well. The WiFi was strong and it was basically an amazing experience.
