great, quiet location in the heart of Samson and just a short walk away from the madness that is Khao San area. Amazing street food vendors on all corners close by, day and night. Squeaky clean rooms.

the hotel is great. Nothing bad to say about the hotel. However guests smoking at and in the pool was pretty gross... I'm sure this a dream for any smoker of course.

One of the best experiences I had while traveling. I stayed in the dormitory room and the quality of the beds, the wifi, the air condicioning and the room temperature were something out of this world. Furthermore, I payed for a hostel experience and had an five starts hotel one! The pool to fight the heat was awesome and most important the quality of the service offered by the staff was astronomical, never met people so nice and willing to help you in my life! Before I could even ask for help they were already giving me the solutions, very very nice experience, will 100% go back!

If I had one bad experience in the one week stay that I had there was only the fact that they didn't have many tables with confortable chairs and sufficient power plugs near them to work. I was working while staying there and didn't know if I could use the restaurant to do so, but in general it's not a big matter when you could just stay near the pool to get work done.

First of all, the travel agent Mike who works inside the hotel is such a wonderful person! He helped us a lot, warned us about the scams outside, informed us of the real price for tuk tuks. We took two tours with him and we really enjoyed them! The hotel was very stylish. We loved the design. The rooms were very clean and spacious. the furnitures seemed quite new. The bed was comfortable, I like firm beds. It was very quiet. The staff were nice. The breakfast was good. They had a decent selection of thai food with some cereal, bread and pastries. There is also a salad bar with lots of veggies and fresh fruit. The location was good, it’s about 10mins walk from Khao San Road.

Great location and a short walk to Khaosan road. Very modern dormitory with use of pool and restaurant downstairs. The hotel across the road is owned by the same family and you have access to their rooftop bar. Highly recommend

We stayed 2 nights in Samsen street hotel . It’s got a young sociable vibe. The staff are friendly and warm. We were able to check in a little earlier when the room was ready. The pool was clean, although a bit busy. There is an outdoor bar serving drinks which was nice, and children-friendly films every night projected outdoors over the pool from around 6 pm. The Wi-Fi was decent and the AC worked. We chose the city facing room because we heard that the pool facing rooms could be noisy with the films, and we pleased that our room was quiet as we had a very early 4 am start to catch our transit the next morning. The room has plenty of hanging space which was nice. It’s a quirky modern design based around street food carts. We enjoyed hanging out in the bay window seating area designed to feel like an overnight bus or train carriage. The location was near a lot of restaurants and bars, as well as 7-11 and ATM. Only 10-15 montures walk to Kaosan road.

There were just a couple things that could be smoothed out on the housekeeping side. We requested our room cleaned in the morning and popped out for several hours to find the room hadn’t been cleaned which was a little inconvenient. The staff quickly tried to sort it within the hour we returned. The swimming pool towels were not readily replenished . They were available on the Sunday we arrived but on Monday there weren’t any until late afternoon/early evening.

Great location, walking distance to main road to easily get a "Grab" or tuk tuk to wherever you needed to go. Down one of the alleys along the canals - so there were some great side street restaurants to choose from, and the food at the hotel was good too! Breakfast was just OK - not a lot of selection, but we made it work and we were happy to have a breafast available to start out the day! We didn't take advantage of the pool or the evening movies, but they looked nice. Loved the story of the history of the owners and their success story - pretty cool.

We had no hot water throughout our stay. Even though it was super hot and humid, a cold shower is a cold shower. To be fair - we didn't really say anything until check out, we were hoping that it would fix itself - but it never did!

This is a real gem. Stylish and quirky design throughout. Staff are all excellent; very efficient and courteous. The room was clean and well designed, with plenty of space for luggage. Sheets and towels were good quality. The bathroom was compact, but more than sufficient. Breakfast is very good with a decent variety available. The pool is really nice, and it is clever that the outside area doubles as a cinema. You can walk to key attractions, or take cheap transport.

Nothing much, the plug in the sink didn't prevent water from escaping; but nothing serious. A stay here is highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel that smelled lovely upon entering, the whole vibe was calming and serene for the September heat. Rooms were nice and clean, beds and pillows gave us a good nights sleep. Get a room which has a balcony facing the pool as they do have movie screenings when it isn’t raining by the pool.

The location was annoying as there was construction on the roads leading to the hotel and the hotel has small lanes and alleyways leading up to it so getting a taxi can be a little annoying.

The hotel and the rooms are great, the staff are always friendly and helpful, the pool and the common area are very nice, plus the location is just perfect - close to all the sights, but yet so calm and chill (and with great food options). We really appreciated that there were toys provided in the pool area for our toddler to play with. We booked a day trip in house and were also satisfied with it. The movie nights are also a great idea! All in all this is such a great value for the price. Next time we're in Bangkok, we'd definitely stay here again!

There are a lot of mosquitos in the area, so a mosquito net on the window would have been amazing. Baby chairs in the breakfast area would also be nice.

Great hotel and service. Nice little pool and cool balconies. The room was perfectly clean and the bathroom had a great fan! Room service food was delicious and everyone was very nice. We'd gladly stay again :)

Every night a movie is played at the pool until 22:30 or so and it's very loud. Not ideal if you enjoy evenings in to relax, but not the end of the world. Perhaps turning it down or pausing it if no one is watching. It would be nice to sit on the balconies to chat in the evening.
