The location was great, just 7minuits walking distance(450m), yet the property is peaceful and quiet being in the middle of the city. In the middle of the of interesting places. very reachable to TERMINAL 21, EMSPHERE, NANA PLAZA, SIAM, NATIONAL STADIUM and also EKKAMAI bus terminal. Food is available at this location from morning to midnight. This place has a nice cafe, bar, and restaurant at the poolside, very relaxing. My room was 505 and 606 facing the back with a pool the neighbor pool view, it was very spacious and private. The bed is one of the most comfortable and soft beds in Bangkok, especially for the price I paid. Friendly Taxi services outside the entrance. There is 7-11 just 3 minuets walk. Lots of hawkers around. The younger reception was very helpful and good. The staff are helpful.

When I was there on the 15th Jun-17th Jun 2024, there was renovation going on. Hope that this will be avoided. The lift is pretty small and slow. The rooms may need a little touch-up on the walls with new paint, maybe wallpaper, a better safe box and new lighting. Make the reception area a little more presentable and bright cause it's a lovely place.

It's a 3-4 minute walk from Nana Station. There's a 7-Eleven nearby. There's a terrace where you can smoke SOMETHING. There's a pool. (I didn't go in, but other guests did.)

There were times when water was not replenished after cleaning. There is no door to the shower area and the walls are short so the floor gets wet.

The rooms are basic but very good, exactly what I was expecting and even a bit more. The beds were quite comfortable. The balcony is a big plus and lived up to the pictures. Very homey place, and the restaurant ties it all together into a great whole. All of the staff is extremely nice which made the stay even better, and the restaurant has some great food and drink. I came here even when I didn't stay as a guest just for the nice atmosphere. Oh and the location is very convenient, close to central areas and streets but not very noisy.

Friendly staff, great bed although pillows are a little high. Room is very functional, although some furniture is still 50 yo original. Good pool and ambiance with restaurant and music beside it. Soi 8 is a good street, some quieter bars compared to Soi 4. I was pleasantly surprised. I will likely come back as it is about 10 min walk to Soi 4 or Asok, no need for BTS.

The musty smokey smell of the room. Although a non smoking room, you are allowed to smoke on the postage size balcony with the door open. I could ignore the outdated cabinetry in the room if it smelt nice and fresh. The bathroom is not very functional, partly updated. It needs more shelf space for toiletries and hanging space for hand towels, both possible to do with room available.

I have to say, for the price, I can't really complain much about this place. Booked it because it had 24 hour check in and I was getting in late. Rooms come with a smokeable balcony, are fairly quiet, and decently spacious. The alley it's located in has a bunch of great street food and it's a close walk to the main road.

So the place is kind of old and run down. Water/humidity damage is apparent on certain counters and portions of the wall. It is cleaned, but could be better cleaned. I didn't think it was too bad of a tradeoff for the price and location though.

Stayed here from 4/11 to 18/11/2023. (Pictures relate to what you get) I did a lot of research on hotels in this area and pick this one, was glad I did. The rooms are cleaned every day, cleaners are great, reception as well Rooms are a good size with balcony, tv channels are good Pool area well kept up Restaurant is very good cannot fault it I have booked here again from the 25th until the 5th December and then from the 15th to 23rd

This was the 4th time we have stayed here. The location is great for BTS , and even for Benjakitti Park. Soi 8 is very pleasant and fairly quiet. It is not a new property , but the rooms are nice and the balcony is a good size. Everything functions. The staff are very nice and there is a decent restaurant and swimming pool.

Room is comfortable & spacious, only issue was the air conditioning in my room was a bit loud at times Restaurant on the ground floor serves a variety of food, they maybe a bit more expensive than most street food though. Just outside the hotel is multiple bars with lots happening & past those you will reach the Nana BTS SkyTrain. I don't smoke but smokers will appreciate that there's a balcony where you can smoke at.

WiFi is slow & unstable at times, my phone's data was a lot faster. Was looking forward to trying out their restaurant buffet on the weekends but it's not available anymore even though it's still listed in their website.

Conveniently located on Soi 8, Stable Lodge has been a 'go to ' for years. The staff are attentive and the location is on a less traveled Soi so that keeps traffic down and its off the Sukhumvit so noise is definitely a non issue. Wonderful stay. The breakfast was spot on too, i sound like an ad, but this is completely independent. The bacon and eggs were spot on, no complaints.

Elevator wasn't working so i chose a room on the 2nd floor. All good. more exercise.

Great location, actually quite at night despite being on a busy Soi and close to so much including the BTS. Lovely pool and bar. Value for money for sure. Its like a little old fashion inn in the middle of a modern city. I will stay here again.

Hard to find fault relating to value, but if I was to be fussy I would say the water pressure in the shower could have been better.
