We’re very happy with our stay in The Sukhothai. Stayed for 5 nights in a club room. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Very large room with all the comfort you hope to find in a 5 star SLH hotel. Club lounge and services are without any reproach and this with always a genuine smile. You feel that the staff is genuinely concerned and looking after all your needs. Complementary apero time in the club lounge is at a very high level and with different propositions every day (come and have a look 5 trident CM). Next time in Bangkok we don’t have to review the 139 five star hotels anymore. The Sukhothai gets our booking without any doubt.

Staff & service were exceptional, I believe the best we have received from any Hotel worldwide. We want to especially thank the lovely Try in the lounge who made our stay and visit to the lounge a pleasure, she is a true asset to your hotel as are all the staff.

The Pool - Our main purpose for booking this hotel was to relax by the pool for our last few days in Bangkok - unfortunately the pool was full of mould/slime both on the sides & base of the pool, which made it both slippery & also felt un-hygenic, especially as you could see all the particles floating in the water - For a Five Star hotel, We believe this was unacceptable. We would stay again at the hotel, but would check to see if the pool has been rectified before visiting. That said, for the limited time we stayed by the pool, the service was once again exceptional from staff.

Location: very quiet space almost in the city center, big surrounding garden, nice landscaping with courtyards, ponds, open spaces. Still central, we walked every day to explore the city, the hotel is conveniently located to all major highlights. Room: extremely clean, spacious, cosy design, different light moods available, large sitting area. Extraordinary bathroom design with 360degree mirrors, huge bathtub, separate shower/WC cabins, perfect standard. Bed very comfortable. We stayed in a Club room with a nice view to the pool/garden. gym: comprehensive, very high standard equipment, located in basement floor = no daylight (no problem). Adjacent SPA facilities with steam bath, jacuzzi, sauna. Club lounge: Nice location, view, food. The staff took extra care of us since we are vegetarians, special food provided. Breakfast: extraordinary in terms of variety, selection, quality, service. Comes very close to the best what I have ever seen in places like Dubai and Singapore. Attentive staff. Restaurant might need some refurbishment here and there, but very good atmosphere. SPA: the Thai massage was marvellous, professional, effective. Staff: as always, the people make the difference. Everyone was incredibly nice, helpful, friendly, funny (in a professional way). Mr Tar, club lounge manager, was exceptional in his way of interaction, super attentive, he arranged our trip to the countryside, transfers etc. and took truly extraordinary care of everything (we felt he was around 24/7). We initially booked for 2 nights, since we felt so well, we came back for another 6 nights after our round trip and even extended the stay. This might tell how happy and satisfied we have been. The place has very good vibes all around. Definitely, we will come again. Thank you to everyone who made the stay memorable.

Spectacular landscaping. Hotel room was spacious. The bed was soft but firm enough to support my weight and provide me a good nights rest. The entire staff was outstanding. They made my first trip to Thailand feel like home. After one day I had staff that knew my name and took the time to engage me in conversation. The ColonageI restaurant provided a wide variety of food. I thought I would not get my typical Western breakfast but they had everything I could ask for and more. La Scala restaurant offered a higher quality of fine dining you would expect from a 5 star hotel. I highly recommend The Sukhothai Hotel to anyone visiting Thailand. You will truly be pleased.

Hard to find fault with the Sukhothai. It is in a class of its own. The pool area alone is reason to book there. Huge beautiful pool with lovely staff serving drinks and food. Immaculate large rooms in the hotel and an oasis off a busy street. One of my favorite hotels in the world.

Everything was great. The room and bathroom were perfect. The hotel is beautiful. Breakfast is absolutely amazing with a good variety also for vegans/vegetarians. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The swimming pool is nice and warm (especially compared to other hotel pools in Bangkok). We will definitely come back next time we visit Bangkok. One of the best hotels in Bangkok. Would definitely recommend.

They charged 540 baht for spaghetti without sauce or anything for my 4-year old, which was more expensive than my green curry, at the pool. Very disproportionate. Restaurants in the city charged around 60 baht for just plain spaghetti. There were a few mosquitos in the room during our first night, which the hotel did resolve for the remainder of our stay by providing plug in repellant. Can be difficult to get a taxi during traffic hours. We ended up walking to the skytrain twice due to the traffic, but it was definitely doable to walk (about 20 minutes with a toddler).

Club wing with pool and gym and the efficient and friendly welcoming service. The Pool side cafe serves excellent Thai food for dinner. The spa offers great Thai massages. The garden setting of the hotel amongst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok makes it a very special place to stay.

The massive and comfortable club room could do with some minor technological upgrades such as the option to stream music, to watch YouTube on the TV-set and to listen to music/news in the bathroom. In effect there is only one dining location Sunday - Wednesday, the Pool side cafe, that serves Thai food for dinner, as the signature restaurant is only open three nights a week.

My first time at Sukhothai was 25 year ago. It's always magic and a dream for me. Staff is amaising, location is perfect, breakfast for sure the best one in BKK. Decoration... chic and simple Massage and Spa very profesional !!!!! I recommend always this beautiful asian hotel, inside of the nature in Bangkok
