We liked the hotel, it is quite remote but a grab can take you anywhere. The hotel host she was amazing, she told us of the night market which we went to on the first evening. We also like the pool and breakfast. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but brekkie was good I would say the dinner would be too. The bed was very comfortable. When leaving a staff ran after us as we left something in the room very kind. The manager also kindly printed documents for our onward journey.

We used the gym each day. This is where the marks fall down. As we are used to using gyms, we managed ok. But a better floor and some mats and cleaning equipment would be ideal and a better structure to the equipment as we had to climb over machines to get to another. As I said we are not fussy, so we managed. The bath situation was okay a hook on the wall for the hose would be better as its a jacuzzi bath so was awkward to shower.

Both of the rooms I stayed in were quite nice, the latter being the superior of the two. Great showerhead, relaxing bath, very comfortable bed and excellent air con. The host, manageress Sai is a beautiful, intelligent and vibrant presence who is welcoming and very easy to talk to. Not only will she put you at ease, she has excellent recommendations for activities and places to visit in Samut Prakan during your stay. The breakfast nook is modest but well stocked and you can choose from fried or scrambled egg or fried rice for your main. The primary cook is a great chef. The pool is also great, but the wrap around nature of the hotel can leave you feeling a bit exposed to the other guests.

The first room I stayed in had a poor showerhead with weak heat and very little room to arrange toiletries. For two mornings the locking mechanism on my door malfunctioned and I was trapped until I was able to phone the staff. The second morning there was no one in reception to answer and I eventually had to call down from my window to some other guests to get out. Also, for the first three days, Sai, the manageress was not present and the younger staff there did not speak English very well. This made communication very difficult.

The staff and owners were great! The rooms were outstanding and comfortable. The owners were so helpful with anything I needed help with. Super friendly people.

Had a problem with the jets blowing off when you started up the jacuzzi tub.😊

Cheap and delicious local restaurant right outside the hotel, bed was really comfortable. Staff were incredibly sweet and helpful.

Considering I received a “room upgrade” due to level 3 genius the bath had a horrible smell coming off it when I ran hot water and it was luke warm so I ended up having a luke warm bath with a horrible smell. Along with strands of hair on the bath head rest. Tap was also leaking.

rooms were mostly neat and clean, except under the beds. personnel was awesomely nice and welcoming. support was offered with pretty much everything. pool was clean and always available.

I did not get in at a Sunday night, as the doors were closed. Although I had been informed that the reception desk would be occupied 24hrs. Waited for 10 mins, then realized there was a window open....Maybe the night guard just went to the restroom or had some issue to solve, still annoying for me.

Great room with bubble bath and a seperate room for our 3 year old son that was attached to our though one door. It was a great place to go directly after arriving in Thailand, where we could chill out and get adjusted to the time zone. We liked it so much we booked a few nights before going home as well (the rest of our Holliday is not in Bangkok).

There were not a lot of other guests. Nice to have the pool for yourself but we would have liked finding other families there as well.

The pool was really nice, the bed was super comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Our spa bath was a bit defective we didn't notice until the last day but I'm sure they would've fixed it if we brought it to their attention

The first impression, in regard to the neighbourhood might be shocking, as it was to us, asking my wife to check out the room, before we moved in. But in itself, the Thongtara House Boutique Srinakarin is a marvel. As in the room, throughout onrecan notice the owners love for the detail, with the desire to offer his guests value for money. The stuff, especially a middle aged lady originally from Myanmar, was very friendly,and in every sence with a helping hand.

The coffee in the morning. But visiting Thailand not for the first time, one simply has to get used to the bitter tasting dark braun sauce.

Great stay close to the airport. The staff was super super friendly highly recommend. The lady at reception was very kind and explained everything i needed to know about my stay. I also managed to get my laundry and super quick turn around. The breakfast is very good and has a good choice of food.

Very friendly staff always offering to help you and offering advice. Pool was well looked after and lots of seating. Clean rooms and well maintained

Location was okay just a bit far out but easy access to the train which was 2 min walk away which connected To the rest of the city.
